Great local history museum which gives you just what a local museum should; dog friendly, a bit of geology, a mammoth, oldest footprint discovered outside of African continent; photographer Edith Edis I’d never heard of, with some great portraits. Well worth a visit.
Lovely little museum. There are 5 townhouses of exhibits. After 3pm the entrance fee costs only GBP2.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo wait
What a gem of a museum hidden away in Cromer. Stacked full of interesting historical information from fossils and the Jurassic period, to the history of Cromer and it's first settlers and how they lived here and earned a living. A great little trail for kids to undertake and earn a small treat. Really worth while visiting.
A very nice little museum focusing on the prehistoric times and the life in Cromer. Higly recommend a visit during the summer holidays. The museum remains closed during the winter.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoParking spaceSomewhat difficult to find parkingParking optionsFree street parking

Very neat little museum, friendly staff, lots of interesting things to see, little bit pricey for the size.

This museum wasn't great, unless i somehow missed a whole section i didn't ! then there really wasn't enough to see here. There were some interesting piece's to see and learn about, like the Mammoth bones, and the plaster artworks were impressive, but to be honest i did well to make my time here last almost an hour..Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
Effective and engaging fossil learning, famous photographs and iconic local paintings. Well worth more than one visit.
