Lovely little place to spend some time. Usually great for spotting dolphins however we were not lucky enough today.

A narrow strip of sand backed by the grassy area of Cromarty Links looking out over the mouth of the firth towards Nigg and its fabrication yards.
Cromarty beach is a peaceful spot that looks out across the Cromarty Firth towards the massive Port of Nigg.nDespite the industrial backdrop, it's a very tranquil area, with a few dog walkers and a few people on the numerous benches beside it.nWe spent half an hour or so, just enjoying to view.
Stunning location, visited late afternoon to see the oil rigs and a bonus cruise ship leaving. Will definitely visit again.
