As someone who had gone to this school for my primary years education I disliked the way this school had been run. I feel like this school always had stood on doing the bare minimum education wise and improperly set many of the students up for their later stages of secondary school. I feel as if many of the staff hired weren't hired to cater to a subject leaving many students leaving with all knowledge pushed from downloaded PowerPoints. Many of the teachers at Croftway did not have the knowledge in the subjects given to teach for everyone there to have a fair chance against many nearby schools education systems, every year of my secondary school I'd have seen students from Croftway arriving gain low sets for their secondary education which would put them on a rough path for their later lives.
Awful place for my child with SEN. Avoid at all costs. They have done more damage than good. Please do not listen to their promises. Our son has been treat SO poorly from staff who were aware of his additional needs and instead of trying to support him, he has been punished for something that is out of his control. Please do your research before putting your trust in them. They have left us stressed beyond words and completely heartbroken.
If I could give 0 stars I would. My 4 year old nephew recently started at this school, the whole experience has been filled with stress and tears, he has essentially been punished for having a disability, avoid at ALL costs. It is not what they make out to be, with their false promises and false hope. AVOID.
Poor quality of teaching and a negative place for young children with SEN, avoid this place if your children have additional needs and look for a school not connected to this academy.
Great school and the teachers do all they can to help out not only the children but also the parents with any concerns they may have.
