"Established in 1989, our central London saleroom is open 7 days a week to inspect lots pre-viewed online of antiques, furnishings, art and collectibles.We offer a Low Cost Nationwide Delivery service and Pack & Post Service. Our weekly Antiques & Interiors online sales close Wednesdays from 7pm with Lot 1.We also have a Wiltshire based saleroom, near Corsham SN13 9SF, holding monthly sales of antiques, art and objets. With tens of thousands of registered clients worldwide, we host some of the busiest auctions in the UK. Our highly experienced valuations team deal with general, specialist and probate valuations, offering competitive rates to suit your needs."

The Criterion Auction Houses in London & Bath are FABULOUS - I regularly buy from both. Great lots, sensibly priced delivery service and a customer service which goes above & beyond. Can't recommend them high enough!
We used Criterion Auctioneers for the deaccession of a corporate collection. They were very professional, efficient, helpful and friendly! I would not hesitate to use them again from the buyer or seller side.
sadly had very poor experience. Bid on cabinet, mine was the first bid of £80 . The item went for £80 but it appears someone put another bid of £80 just moments after mine at the end of the auction. My bid should have won according to the rules BUT no response after going into the auction house,emailing and telephoning. Seems the system has flaws and no one is willing to help...BEWARE!!! My bid was made BEFORE the auto bid and I sent proof of this to Criterion

Am a buyer; easy bidding process and then a quick, friendly and helpful service when picking up. As London auctions go, there are some good things at lower prices. Apparently if you know what you want to look at you can pop in during the week to have a look which I didn't realize. Thanks!
Criterion is an excellent auction house. The staff are professional and friendly. Every week I buy wonderful items. My favourite auction house by a mile.
Engaged the services of Criterion for house clearance and subsequent auctions. Extremely friendly and efficient service. Couldn't have asked for more from them. Process seamless from start to finish.
Very dodgy behaviour from the auctioneers who did not let me bid more on lot 33 last week. Unfair treatment for customers. The dodgy behaviour happened after the item was withdrawn and sold at 320£ stating on the Criterion website that it was the highest bid while I informed the auctioneers that I would have been willing to bid higher than that...
The Criterion auctions look a mess at the moment, as they are transitioning to purely on-line sales. But you can walk around the narrow aisles for a browse, but make sure you ask an assistant what colour sticker indicates that an article is coming up at THIS week's sale. Articles are no longer displayed attractively as they used to be it's a jumble so better to go online to browse for what you like in the coming week's sale. Then come in and check it out personally with help from staff. And bid on-line on the day of sale.
