Great old-fashioned little pub, with nice beer and cider selection. Very cosy and lots of character. Plenty of seating outside by the river. At low tide, stepping stones for kids to play on. Toilets tidy. Dogs and kids not allowed inside.
I was brought to this beautiful place as a child,I've since grown up and brought my children here. It's such a fantastic, friendly place and a real step back in time. If you're in the area, just go to see this very special hidden gem of history.
Cracking traditional village pub in idilic location. Visit by road or river, when tide is right.Serving a good selection of ales and beer pitch fork is delicious all at good price . Highly recommend ,friendly staff who know what a traditional pub should be .Bike night alway worth a visit .
Why can't all pubs be like this? It suddenly appears in the most stunning location. Plenty of outdoor seating, the owner was very quick to come over and take our order. We had the house ale and he told us the story behind how it was brewed. Could have stayed staring at the estuary and wildlife all day.
We were pleasantly surprised to find this pub open at lunchtime on a winter's day. Good selection of beers, open log fire, but we sat outside. Pub is located at a scenic spot on the estuary near the old quayside where coal was loaded onto barges.
Love this welsh country pub in the heart of #PEMBROKESHIRE, close to #Carew Castle. It has maintains its charm since the first time I visited this pub many years ago. Locals and visitors enjoy the spectacular view of the river on a hot summers evening, especially when it's high tide at the Quey. Cider and beer were great and the service was fantastic. A memorable visit to one of my favourite pubs in Wales.
Absolutely superb. Stunning vistas even on a rainy day. The service was 1st class, fab friendly staff with welcoming smiles. Recommend here any day of the week. Cannot speak highly enough of yhe place.
A lovely traditional pub, full of character, which probably hasn’t changed much in a hundred years. The outside seating area on the banks of the estuary offer stunning views - the perfect spot for a pint on a sunny afternoon. Just a shame about the two cantankerous old men that run the pub. They really do spoil the experience - not that they probably care!
Great service and good one way system for the current situation. A lovely place to sit with a drink on a sunny day and watch the tide come in or out.
Went to a bike meet, very well run, all types of bikes from very old to new, young riders and old, good to see many lady riders attending, everyone respected the neighbors which are close by, food was available and obviously alcohol if required.
