Greg, Lisa, Jess, and the rest of the staff were incredibly kind, warm, and helpful. They bring you in as if you were family. The Inn itself is charming and, again, warm. It's located in a quiet town Abernethy between Perth and Newbourgh with relatively easy access to St. Andrews. We used the same cab driver for all locations hats off to Rob and he was fantastic. Greg and Lisa mentioned that there was a flood relatively recently, but you would not know it at all. They did a great job renovating and the rooms were comfortable and very clean. If you are interested in more hustle and bustle, or late night noise, you should probably go elsewhere. If you want access to those places, but want a respite complete with great hospitality and some amazing food / drink, go here.
Stayed here as had a wedding nearby. Lovely rooms, pleasant staff and reasonably priced. Breakfast was great as well. We also had a large family meal here which was also brilliant!
My wife and I with ourblack lab Holly visited on a day trip and so didn't stay in accommodation. We were welcomed into the lovely bar and restaurant by the landlady and very pleasant staff. After a local walk on a route as advised, we enjoyed a nice pint and a very decent Sunday roast and dessert at decent prices. Thank you all - we will be back.
Went here on a whim on the road home and found this place. They had suffered some flooding a few days prior and managed to get everything back up and running which is a testament to themselves..please note you couldn't tell they had an issue as everything was spotless..I had the pizza and my partner had the king prawn linguine washed down by a nice cold pint or two. Dont forget the onion rings either.. Would I go back again? Friendly staff, good food, lovely decor inside...of course I would and will be back.
Friendly staff, good atmosphere. Beer was good, all the classics. Cider also available. Warm and not to loud even when busy.Service: 5/5
Lovely cosy restaurant with very helpful friendly staff. Compliments to the chef - our meal was exceptional. Will definitely be going back.Service: 5/5
Wonderful overnight stay. Food and service was excellent. Just 1hrs drive from Glasgow. Food & drinks: Brilliant food and great choice of beverages.
A lovely hidden gem! Food was super. Although, my husband said the salt & pepper chicken could have done with a curry sauce perhaps as it got abit dry Service was great-the member of staff serving us was new but she was very friendly and chatty. Before we visited we couldn’t find a menu online anywhere-perhaps this may discourage visitors so I made sure to photograph the menu for others to see!
We stayed for 1 night on 14 May to attend a function at Lindores Abbey. There are only 4 rooms. Very clean. We were given a very warm welcome & invited to inspect our room prior to checking in. All staff went out of their way to provide excellent customer service. A very well stocked bar. Breakfast room had a chiller with juice, yogurt & fruit for each individual room. Grant the owner served us breakfast which was substantial & catered to me as non meat eater. Will definitely be back.
Just lovely! Gorgeous interior, felt very private and cosy. Really lovely friendly staff. Excellent menu with plenty of choice, I had the roast beef Sunday dinner and it was delicious, hot and fresh. It included a free dessert too which was a nice surprise and just as good . The service was very good, a little slow but it was a busy evening and one of the staff was new, plus we were celebrating a birthday and were in no hurry so it didn't really matter. Will definitely visit again and would highly recommend. Thank you
