We’ve got a lwb crafter campervan , googled parking couldn’t see anywhere suitable to park a camper or motorhome ,thought we’d drive down as there must be somewhere !! Even if you’ve got to walk down , ended up at the creek car park looks plenty big enough . Signs says cars only but spaces were plentiful , so could have parked across two spaces obviously was happy to pay for two spaces, see a guy issuing tickets so went and spoke to him , basically got told to clear off, then got a yocal fuddy ole cow moaning that my van was running lol, perhaps she expected it to be peddle powered ? , so salcombe can suck my left one far as I’m concerned we left and spent the day and our money in another town

Good location, small spaces for the large cars people have these days. Paybyphone app - get it downloaded before

Couldn’t pay for parking as machine only accepts cash. App wasn’t working to pay for parking, ended up getting a ticket as well as 12 other cars nearby. Great location, rubbish system, make sure you bring cash.

We visited Salcombe in October 2024, surprised to find there was only a few car parking spaces.  Major of the parking spaces was taken up by a few boats. There were many cars driving around struggling to  find parking. If the car parks is own by the council who is in their right mind allow a few boat taken up the majority of the parking spaces.
