Really bad ! I went down the slide with my daughter and my foot touched the middle of the slide so it scrapped me ! It really hurt and left me with a burn like scar. My sister went down with her son and he started crying so much , we thought that he was just scared from the slide. Then after taking him home we realised it had skinned his elbow ! And left him with a big scar !! How is this a play area for kids ? And it’s so expensive as well ! £2.90 for half an hour ??
Decided to take my 2 year old nephew to this play area at Trafford Centre and was nice to know that he enjoyed himself. Ironically, I noticed that adults also have fun Obviously, from a safety perspective, parents are strongly advised to ensure that they accompany or supervise their kids at all times. Overall: Well done! My nephew loved it!
I have only given this 2* because on the positive I was very impressed with the security; a band was clipped round your child's waist with a number and the corresponding number written down on their records, along with Childs name, age and your name as the parent or guardian and a telephone number. You couldn't exit without handing the ticket in which you were given on entry along with your child's full name. The negative is that it was absolutely heaving when I went, there was no space to sit down and I had to pay for my 2 and half year old when the toddler area is absolutely rubbish!! He couldn't get on the main play frame for all the children being rowdy and pushing him out of the way! There were two staff members meant to be 'monitoring' play but they weren't doing anything! The staff then called your child's name over the tannoy when it was "time for shoes" the toilet facilities are ridiculous too. As a mother on my own, there was no way I could fit my 2 year old son in the toilet with me as there was only one adult and one child toilet! I know it's a busy place in the Trafford centre but surely that should have spurred some extra thinking too. Won't be back, there are far better playcentres around where the facilities are actually worth the price you pay.
The woman was very unsympathetic at the front desk. In my opinion, staff in such places where man with children has to do, should be especially nice. Besides, I personally think that it is a bit overpriced for 1 year old childs, because there is not much opportunities for the toddler. but my 10 year old daughter and 6 year old son were very happy only for my little one was not too many possibilities in the offer.
Went there with my friend and our kids for an hours play. Waited 15mins for them to finish faffing about and keeping us waiting before she dealt with us. No apology for keeping us, oh but we did get a "u need to fold up your pram right now" talk. Staff need more training on customer service skills. The guy behind me only wanted half an hour aswell but waited for almost that! Haha felt sorry for him too. Kids had fun though but where are all the balls for the basket pulley bit?! trafford centre you can do better than that.
Unhelpful staff, absolutely no one in,but told had to fold the buggy, told them i could fold the base but the seat was rigid so would have to be left on the side. Staff told me that this was not acceptable so the husband had to take it back to the car. Would have left but already promised my son. Worst play area we have been to.
Although it is quite cramped and areas for parents to sit are sparse -1 star I feel its very secure, they can not leave/escape without going through one door manned by staff who check each child which stops abduction worries too! You have to leave your pram out in the entrance folded down which in my case isn't possible -1 star
Horrible staff ,negligence ,I had a moment of scare in my life,My child who is just 3 went for his birthday ,my teenage daughter was looking after him,the place is so busy with children pushing each other,at the end of our session while my child was running around and his sister following him,one of the staff let my boy of 3 pass and blocked the entrance so my daughter could not pass through the stairs, then she told her ,you are not allowed to go in ,you can not supervise the child,my daughter had to go the other way to look for her brother,I was not aware about this until I saw my daughter alone and ask for where is her brother, she said the staff blocked me and let him pass,we both panicked ,a night full of children and at Trafford centre,my child could have been stamped or even suffocated as now he has no supervisor,I was not even informed that there is a place for 3 years toddler,I had to approach the staff and asked why she did this careless and negligence act to endanger my child,Why she did not come to me while she know where I sat instead she blocked my daughter and left the child alone, she told me,you were told only parent can supervise a child,so now she left a 3 year old child alone in this huge place with no security, and with no apologetic she went on to say you can go to look at him ,he might be upstairs, then she left and went to put the announcement ,parent are reminded to supervise their own children. What a horrible experience,I will never ever visit this place again, luckily we were able to find him at least after 5-6 minutes of looking all over the place.I even asked her,if you know she is a teenager and can not supervise a child why did you talk to her instead of coming to me,why would you block her and left the child with no even a minimal supervision, she should not be allowed to work with children if this is what she is doing, she act like a bouncer instead of supervision.
Went early when it was quiet and was generally ok. Small, not much to do but seemed pretty clean.
Really good memories of this place. Would definitely recommend for adults looking to drop their kids off whilst they go shopping
