Booked online & visited during the October half term. 2 adults, 3 children & a baby. £100 for the tickets in total. Car parking free. The kids enjoyed the spook fest, they're 11, 9, 7 & 1 years old. Had the opportunity of taking a free pumpkin - we didn't as we were on holiday so wouldn't have the space in the car to take it home etc. Queue to get in moved quickly and orderly. First ride my husband and older two tried to get on impacted on the morning some what. The on & off rain meant they kept stopping operations. Then ran it empty. After an hour of waiting. They closed it completely. My daughter who's younger enjoyed the indoor rides during this time. There is both indoor & outdoor play areas. The kids loved them. Food prices aren't as extreme as you'd expect. We got 10 freshly cooked donuts I think for £7. The gift shop was rather reasonable too. I took my 1 year old for a walk around the lake whilst the other went one some of the ride. We found some ponies to look at and there were other animals in another section. Overall & considering I personally don't like rides.. it was a great day for the family. They enjoyed themselves. We spent longer there than expected. I do wish the park had been open until 6pm. If you're a hard-core theme park lover this is rather mellow. Definitely caters for the under 13s. If we were in the area again I'd certainly book to visit again.
Staff here are welcoming and fun and add to the atmosphere. Everyone works hard to ensure all visitors have the best day. There is so much to do and see and it really is amazing for all ages, there so plenty for a toddler or a teen to do. With indoor and outdoor attractions it is good for a day out whatever the weather. Just a short drive from the M5 on outskirts of Exeter it is easy to get to and has a huge amount of parking. They have worked hard to make it accessible for all users too, mobility and sensory needs can be catered for and supported.
Great day out for kids. Our little one was a little too small for a lot of rides, recommended 92cm+. But we still managed a couple of rides and had lots of fun on all the different indoor and outdoor play areas, as well as the different animal sections. Great value for money. We had southern fried chicken meal with chips and it was so tasty.
Although the weather wasn't brilliant. In between the break of rain and sun getting through we all had a great time. The staff there was brilliant and very professional to explain the rules of every ride . Plenty of parking. Good food. But I can imagine how busy it's going to get in the summer time. You will have to be patient on waiting your turn for any of the rides. Have fun .
Visited here with the grandchildren 5 and 3 and they had a fab time. Most of the rides were open and the queues short. Definitely geared at younger children but fun all the same. Lots of rides to choose from and the children loved the Sooty show - simple but funny. Downside was lack of places open for coffee and ice creams. Definitely would return if in the area.
Crealy isn't a massive place so easy to get around and cues for the rides varied but none were that long. We went the last weekend in October for Halloween it was busy but not awfully busy. The reason for the 4 stars was not the rides or the staff but because if you have food allergies or gluten free or vegetarian there was very little choice. We ended up with the smallest jacket potatoes and unless you added extras it definitely would not fill up adults, which we are. If you have no dietary requirements you'd be fine, there's a pizza place, a chicken place, a cafe that sells mainly pasties and the Jacket potato place. Strangely despite it being a Saturday all the ice cream huts were shut.
It's not as big as I had imagined. We mainly went for Sooty Land as our little one is 5 and he loves Sooty. This was good, there were some meet Sooty shows where he could have a picture and the presenter had some fun with the children. The Big Top show was out in the rain as opposed to in the big top tent which we found bizarre but he still enjoyed it. Most Sooty rides were open although not manned due to time of year so had to wait for someone to be there. Really impressed with the soft play areas which were a god send in such torrential rain. There were lots of climbing frames and a huge Fort which had weather been nice I imagine we would have spent most of the day at. Food typically expensive as in kost places like this but overall a good day.
Family and friends day out was great! I took my then 16 month old and she had a good time. Us adults enjoyed the rides and my 16 month old enjoyed the rides she was allowed on and the sooty show! The soft play area really could do with a refurbishment and the soft play in the sooty and sweep area could do with a ball pit for the little ones. We will be coming back!
We had a lovely day out here. Three year old loved every minute. Went on a term time week day and it was perfect. Very quiet and could go on the rides multiple times without any queues. Very pleasant staff.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYes
