We had a fabulous half term holiday here. The breakfasts were second to none and kept the adults going till late afternoon! Great base for exploring the local area with so many beautiful local walks to go on. Rooms: Very generous sizes. We had two families with two kids each staying. The pull out bed was ideal for a child and the hosts provided a travel cot. Much appreciated! The family rooms had both a bath and a shower which is ideal for kids. Food & drinks: The venue don't serve alcohol and are bed and breakfast. Milan's breakfasts were top notch! The hosts were very flexible with breakfast timings and requirements for vegetarians and the kids. Lots of attention to detail and absolutely delicious Noteworthy details: We loved spotting the local Red squirrels. Myself and my Mum had a crystal healing session with Rob - highly recommended. I loved seeing all the crystals Rob had around the hotel. He was very knowledgeable and gave some good tips. Thanks so much
We stayed four nights and 100% loved our stay, Kerry and Andy were exceptionally excellent hosts, nothing was ever to much trouble. Our room and ensuite bathroom was immaculate, lovely view from our room. Plenty of off road parking. They have a great range of spirits to drink at great prices. Our breakfast was delicious every day, with a great choice of menus. Great walks all around. Fishing aswell. Central to many great places of interest. We can highly recommend this to anyone.
Luxurious, pet-friendly B&B run by the very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly Andy & Kerry. Set in a beautiful glen near Loch Lomond, this Creagan House in Strathyre is not to be confused with the village of Creagan on the shore of Loch Linnhe just north of Oban. The rooms are lovely and even come with a blanket and jar of treats for any canine visitors. There are some reasonable eateries within walking distance for supper, including the White Stag Inn. In the morning, a breakfast of champions is provided, served with a smile and the assurance that nothing is too much trouble.
A perfectly cozy little B&B! The building was full of historic charm, complete with a wood burning stove in the lounge and four poster bed in our room! Our hosts were so accommodating--the vegetarian breakfast options were impressive, and they were even happy to build us a roaring fire in the lounge after a long day of exploring! There is also a lovely little stream that runs through the property, and hiking trails right in the backyard! A great base for an outdoor adventure, with a house and hosts that make it feel like home.
Beautiful B&B in a beautiful location. Ours hosts were more than accommodating, and we had some lovely conversation with them as well. The dining area was incredible, and breakfast was great! My wife and I stayed here on our way up to the Isle of Skye. I Highly recommend a stay here. Wish we had more time to explore the trails and the Trossachs as a whole.
We loved staying at this bed and breakfast. Beautiful and peaceful setting; we saw several red squirrels and hens running about in the gardens! Dog friendly as well. The hosts are extremely welcoming and show a clear passion for their business and their town. We especially loved the whiskey and gin selection in their bar! Also- great breakfast and clean suites. Would stay again; only had one night here unfortunately.
Andy and Kerry are amazing host's, nothing was too much trouble. Lovely areas to sit and enjoy the Scottish wildlife noises. Creagan burn flowing through side of property beside luxury Gazebo. Loads of forest walks from garden.
Always a warm welcome, excellent rooms, great views. Handy for cycle and walkways. Dinner is set meal but can accommodate most preferences and diets. Loved the carrot with bacon starter. Panacottas were a dream!
What an amazing B&B! Beautiful rooms and common areas with a lot of character. The room was spotless and everything was prepared with care and attention to detail. The hosts are very friendly. Will have to stay there again.
This is probably the best place I have ever stayed. Hosts Andy and Kerry are attentive and friendly. The house itself is cosy and inviting and the room are immaculately kept. Breakfast was the highlight of the stay. Well cooked and served in a fine and bright dining hall. There are a few pubs nearby to get your dinner and moderately priced packed lunches are provided on demand. The licensed bar stocks 39 different single malt whiskies as well as a good selection of gin etc. All in all a delightful experience.
