I went to temple today to offer water to Lord Shiva and the pandit rudely told me that only priests can do that. Are you kidding me?? In this age.. I have been going to temples since childhood an no one ever said that to me.
A place I always look forward to visit , no matter what my mood is ! Bhakti filled. We are welcome to cook and take Prasadam to offer god and devotees. Clean , peaceful and fulfilling
This is south Indian Hindu temple. Pooja at 12:00pm and 7:30pm daily. They have grand celebrations on occasions and specific pooja days. We love to go.
This temple is peaceful and the deities have a definite presence. However, it is not a welcoming place unless you speak the language I am from a different part of the country, or are already a familiar. I stood there for 15 minutes while all the priests and fellow worshippers pushed past me multiple times as if I wasn’t even there. At 10:30 am on a weekday, it was not busy enough that they couldn’t even acknowledge my presence. I have spent a lot of time at the Shree Ganapathy Temple in Effra Road Wimbledon, where from my very first visit I have appreciated how everyone does their best to make you feel welcome, rather than an intruder who has somehow gatecrashed a clique. I came away really sad and disappointed and will not be going again.

Good temple with archagar who speaks Tamil also.. do definitely visit this temple if you are looking for a South Indian temple.
Please check temple timings before travelling, main amman sannidhi opens only at 12pm and again at 8pm although temple remains open as per opening hours.
It is a peaceful place to pray
