I visited here today after my husband was told by a work colleague that its the best ice cream ever!! Well all I can say is yes it is, what lovely welcoming staff. Amazing ice cream and you could taste it before you buy. Although I was being good and only tasted 2. However when it came to buying I got the biggest pot with 4 flavours of ice cream. I ate it all... I'm going back tomorrow to try different flavours...
The best ice cream I've ever had, no doubts at all. I tried their clotted cream tea and lavender flavours in a cone and it tasted divine. Fresh, creamy, not too sweet and absolutely delicious. I'd go back in a heartbeat if I lived any closer. Highly recommend!
If you are nearby, go in and get yourself the best ice cream I've ever had! Tracy is brilliant and actively encourages you to get tasters, I'm almost certain she'd have let me have a taste of all of them if I wanted to and she wouldn't have bat an eyelid. So many different original flavours that rotate every day. Couldn't recommend any more!
Crave came highly recommended and it did not disappoint. The staff were pleasant, they knew the faces of regulars, and you can tell it’s a warm and loving shop. They were generous with tastes and the scoops. All this is secondary to the number of flavors. You can’t go wrong with any selection.
We have just had the most delicious ice creams made on the premises. It has quite literally made our day! If you like decent dairy ice cream, have food intolerances or need to have plant based ice cream - you will not be disappointed. I can’t eat eggs or dairy - usually the choice is vanilla - take it or leave it in most places. Here I chose half a scoop of pomegranate ice cream and half a scoop of pink grapefruit - I can confidently say it was the nicest ice cream I’ve ever tasted even harking back to the days I could eat dairy and eggs. There was also dark chocolate, lemon and also chocolate and cookie dough plant based options. If you can eat dairy there is an even bigger array of options. My teenage daughter chose miso caramel cheesecake and said it was delicious too. The owners told us the menu changes daily. They offered us a taste test too. As well as delicious ice cream, the staff and service were an absolute delight. Portions were generous - if you are on the Isle of Wight stop for an ice cream, detours are more than worth the effort. Sizes start with toddler portion. We went for lovely crunchy waffle cone, pots were also available. They also sold very good churros with a little pot of chocolate dipping sauce. Two generous ice creams 1 scoop with a waffle cone cost us £6.40 in total. Cash or cards are accepted there.
Googled the best place for ice cream on the IOW and this place was recommended and did not disappoint! So many flavours and great decoration - looked and tasted great. Go check this place out if you want ice cream.Food: 5/5
Best ice cream on the island by miles. Creme brulee and chocolate_peanut were delicious. Even flavour that we'd normally shy away from like Lavender and Lemon/White chocolate were so good! They offer tasters because they know every flavour is tasty. Highly recommend, the only downside is it's busy so it's hard to find a seat Staff and owners are lovely.
Amazing people, incredible menu, unique but excellent flavours and wonderful decoration! I can tell why it’s been open for so long. I would recommend this ice cream shop for anyone. Gluten free? They have options including cones. Vegan? They have also got a few flavours. Menu changes daily so no reason to get bored. Incrediblely affordable too. £3.20 for single scoop. By far the best ice cream I’ve ever had.
Second time visiting and such great service. You are asked if you want to taste test any ice cream flavours first which is fab and you can also have half of one flavour and half of another which is very generous of them! The sizes are really generous generally. They also have sugar free options if you ask! Will always return if we come back to this amazing place called Ventnor
Have wanted to come here for ages. We live up in Cambridgeshire and come down to see family once a year, saw a post suggested on fb and read the hundreds of positive reviews and knew we had to pay a visit. I ordered the passionfruit and raspberry, and husband and son ordered the cookies and cream. 5/5. Kid-friendliness: Just super friendly and kind. Gave the time and patience whilst son was busy deciding!
