Enjoy going here. Haven't been for a while but the new layout of the whole place really works. Bayard's kitchen is really nice. The food was good and the small indoor children's area was really useful for my 2 young children. Food was prompt in arriving and prices are quite good.
No cheese scones left. They never used to run out in the afternoon and we have been 3 times looking forward to them, only to be told they don’t have any. The staff are lovely though and very attentive but it does seem to take a long time to get your coffee. Think there is only one machine operating when they used to have two??
Had a lovely meal here with my Son,Daughter in law,Granddaughter and Husband & myself Meals were lovely and you get plenty . Very happy that they do a Gluten Free Menu just ask at the till as I'm GF. We went there for my Son's Birthday.
We called in for the Christmas Fayre. What a delightful little coffee shop. Lovely coffee and gorgeous mince pies, which set is up the the Christmas spirit! There are some lovely shops here, tastefully done and unusual things to buy. Well worth a visit at any time
At first I thought it was a bit pricey but when the food came it was absolutely delicious and well worth the money. Spicy falafel pitta, well presented, 2 pitta with abundance of salad and 2 dips. Also had raspberry ripple cake and a coffee.
Disappointing. Long queue to order and then another queue till my chit for 2 takeaway coffees could be served. Literally 40 minutes for 2 coffees and nowhere else at Dartington open t o serve similar. . Theyre not geared for efficient service at busy times
Very expensive for not great quality food. No coffee as machine had broke, quite a while to wait and all together not a great experience and I would highly recommend looking for somewhere else
Hi this place is expensive, the food was ok ,very busy noisy, I have been there a long time ago but, it used to better than now.
Feel sorry, Dartington is usually a busy and interesting place, it has got really run down due to the pandemic and badly needs a boost to bring it back to its vibrant and quirky self.
