Beautiful stay of 4 nights in this great B&B, gorgeous comfy rooms and friendly owners. Went above and beyond to offer us deals and discounts at various local attractions and restaurants which was great. Freedom to come and go as you please and good range of breakfastRooms: 5/5
My wife and I just spent 2 wonderful nights on Craigroyston. Everything was exceptional from check in to check out. The location is perfect to explore Pitlochry and the surrounding area. The breakfast was excellent as well. Greg was a wonderful host! We wish we had stayed more nights. A wonderful value for money.Rooms: 5/5
Enjoyed our two night stay here. Conveniently located in the charming village of Pitlochry close to restaurants and other attractions. The hosts were gracious and attentive. The rooms were decorated tastefully and bedding comfortable . We enjoyed the tasty breakfasts with a nice choice given. A lovely place to stay in the Highlands. Hope to return!
Great location and helpful host! Greg had good recommendations for things to do and see around Pitlochry. Excellent breakfast and clean accommodations. Awesome view from our room and lovely garden in the back we got to enjoy each time we walked to town. Highly recommend!Rooms: 5/5
It is hard to say goodbye to the lovely town of Pitlochry and this gorgeous bed and breakfast at Craigroyston House. The rooms here are very beautiful and comfortable. Greg, the host, was most helpful in recommending things to do and see in the area especially since we were staying without a car and made us feel very welcome. The breakfasts prepared each morning were delicious and filling. We will certainly return in the future for another visit! Nearby activities: Blair Athol distillery is within walking distance. There is also a short hike to a waterfall. Several nice pubs and restaurants in the town. Blair Castle is a 30 minute bus ride away and worth a visit! Walkability: Very close to town lots of shops and restaurants and walkable to bus stop and train station.
Wow. Right out of a fairy tale. Both the town of Pitlochry and the Craigroyston House were perfect. Greg we are so glad you came out of retirement to do what you now do. We have travelled all over and the day and night we spent with you and in your beautiful home town were top notch. I can see why almost every review you have is 10/10. Thank you for making our stay memorable.
Words can never fully express what an AMAZING time we had at Craigroyston! Greg and Sue, our hosts, went above and beyond to make our visit to Pitlochry one of the best trips we’ve ever taken. The inn was LOVELY, and our room exceeded all expectations. The breakfast was delicious and bountiful. Thank you, Greg and Sue, for all your kindness and impeccable hospitality. We will definitely be back to visit! Rooms: The rooms at Craigroyston are excellent with en-suite bathrooms and endless charm. The sitting room and dining room on first floor are inviting, spacious and beautifully decorated. Nearby activities: House of Bruar just a short drive from Pitlochry and is a shoppers paradise. Just behind the shops is a hiking path along the stream to a beautiful waterfall. Blair Atholl Distillery is right on the edge of town, a short walk from the inn. We had a blast there! You could spend a week in Pitlochry and never see it all. Safety: We walked around everywhere, at all hours, and felt completely safe and secure. All of the people in town are so warm, welcoming and helpful! Walkability: We only drove our car once while in Pitlochry. The Craigroyston sits on the ridge above the main street of town with a very easy, short walking path down to everything! Food & drinks: We enjoyed some very nice meals in town. Old Mill has a great pub with live music on weekends. Our favorite meal was at the Fern Cottage; it was AMAZING! Highly recommend! Noteworthy details: Pitlochry is like stepping into a Disney film with a quaint main street lined with hanging flower baskets, speciality shops, cafes, and restaurants. It is one of our favorite places on the planet. We would live there in a heartbeat!
Very charming and elegant place. The owner gave us lot of excellent advice and suggestions on place to go, to visit, to shop, or just to view. Very nice breakfast with local sourcing. We have highly appreciated our stay. And of course, nice night in such a quiet place.Rooms: 5/5
Sue and Craig were absolutely fantastic hosts. From the time we arrived to the time we left, we felt welcomed and at home. The rooms were gorgeous and their recommendations for what to do about town was spot on. My only wish is that we could have stayed longer.Rooms: 5/5
