Very nice place for a quiet game of snooker and a couple of drinks. Warm and friendly welcome, great customer service and always quick to highlight any deals/offers that are available to give the customer more for their money. Been going regularly recently and if all stays the same I will continue to be a regular visitor.
Probably the best place in the world if you're a big snooker fan, though if you are you'll likely be going straight to the tables behind. As a pub, the drink is fairly cheap, but there's no food. The TV is pretty much always on playing football from somewhere, which you may or may not like. I doubt it's ever very busy, but that's not a bad thing.
Staff very friendly with a good atmosphere no matter when you go in day or night midweek or weekend Now not only a Snooker Club, as well as having 22 great snooker tables with over 1300 members a Gents Barbers is about to open. Fantastic venue for functions and the public lounge has all the sports you want to.
Large snooker/pool hall. Plenty of tables and a bar. Tables where good and had just been recovered. Also a room with pool tables and darts. Prices where reasonable. Dont have to be a member to play. Yearly membership £10. First time and certainly wont be the last.
Very bad club for serious snooker players. Just glorified pub these days. Even though fully paid up member for yrs & got about 19 tables the manager George won’t allow u 2 choose ur table ! Insisting we can’t play on table upstairs as it cost THEM MORE ELECTRICITY ! What nonsense. I will NEVER GO BACK AGAIN. Plus he’s very rude.
Great pool and snooker Hall. Friendly staff. Good bar. Worth a visit if you are looking for a decent night with pals and a few beers.
Excellent venue for snooker, great staff and atmosphere. Also contains a nice bar with a wide selection of draft lagers and drinks. The ideal snooker club.
Bestest wee hidey hole in the land. Great pint and clean pipes!! The Boss is awright too. Entertainment every Friday and Saturday, karaoke and music. Live Acts from time to time also. This would be a 5 star but a so called door man with no I.D who also looked drunk said I was barred. I asked for a reason he then said because I was agruing with my friends. My friends then defended me by saying we were not arguing we were talking and having a smoke outside. The so called bouncer was trying to get a reaction out of me by touching my chest when I asked him not to. Poor when there is cctv outside and people outside looked confused and me and my friends
