We had a fantastic stay at Craigmhor for two nights last weekend in a Deluxe Double with patio in the courtyard. The room was large and modern with a very well equipped en-suite. The bed was extremely comfortable and most importantly everything was spotless. Breakfast was delicious with fresh cooked food served in a lovely dining room by welcoming and friendly staff. I would certainly recommend Craigmhor Lodge and Courtyard if you need somewhere to stay in Pitlochry. We will certainly visit again. Rooms: Comfortable, very well equipped, relaxing and spotlessly clean
We have stayed in many places in and around Pitlochry, so glad we have now discovered Craigmhor Lodge B & B. We had a room in the Lodge itself that had a large bedroom and large en-suite which were both very nice. The bedroom and bathroom had everything you could need including nice soaps etc . The Lodge is in a great location within easy walking distance of the town centre and to Moulin , so great for walking out for evening meals and drinks. There is also plenty of parking on site. The Lodge itself is very comfortable and there are plenty of seats outside in the nice garden if the weather allows. There are nice views over Pitlochry and down the valley especially from the breakfast room where a great meal to start the day is served. There is a huge choice of food available at breakfast served by very friendly attentive staff, thank you. We tried different items each day from the full Scottish breakfast , Poached Eggs on Toast, Scrambled Eggs on toast to Pancakes with Banana, Bacon & Maple Syrup. This was in addition to toast and very nice coffee. There was so much on offer it was difficult to make a choice and to watch the waistline at the same time. We would definitely recommend this Lodge for B & B and have found our place to stay when in the area !
Craigmore lodge and courtyard was one of the best that my wife and I have stayed in. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean, the bathroom also very spacious and spotless. The patio was a lovely bonus . The gardens are lovely to sit in with a drink and it's a very short walk to the main street and shops, restaurants. The breakfast is on another level, very very good and would be hard to beat anywhere else. I very much appreciated how the owners who were great, were geared up for cyclists doing the etape Caledonia with a very early breakfast 5.30 a.m and bike storage. In a word, perfection.
I've stayed at Craighmor several times and the experience gets better every time. Fantastic rooms, friendly team, comfy beds, spotlessly clean and a great breakfast, highly recommended!Rooms: 5/5
First visit and not the last. Lodge is large enough for two twin beds and a table with 2 chairs. Bathroom is massive with the best shower. Breakfast is just brilliant and staff are so helpful. The location is about 10 minutes walk from main street. Location is up a hill but even with slight mobility problems I managed fine.Rooms: 5/5
First stay here, won't be the last. Stunning views and scenery all around. Rooms are beautiful and immaculate. Best shower ever. Staff very friendly. Plenty to choose for breakfast options.Rooms: 5/5
The accommodation was superb large, comfortable, and warm. The staff were friendly and attentive. The perfect location for our short break discovering the surrounding area. Food & drinks: The breakfast was top quality with fresh local ingredients
Excellent accommodation; very homely, clean and comfortable. Location perfect, away from the main drag, but with easy access to routes out of town. Good place to walk from; we did the Killicrankie loop and Craigower paths. We went to Dunkeld to do the Birnam, Craigvinean Forest, Hermitage loop walk, too. Breakfast excellent, with many options available; all good. For dining, we went to Saorsa 1875 and Knockendarroch, both of which were excellent, with Knockendarroch being especially good. Walkability: Easy to get to. Not too much of an ascent to get to the hotel from town. good location for local area walks.
Lovely place to stay. Breakfast was excellent and not too far a walk to the town . Will definitely stay again when in Pitlochry Staff were very helpful nothing was too much trouble. Thank you for a lovely stay xxRooms: 5/5
I had an extremely pleasant stay in a beautifully decorated room in the main house. The staff were very welcoming and showed you right to your room. The linen was very good quality as was the furniture in the room. Large modern shower room with luxury toiletries. The hotel is located on a hill with the town a 5 minute walk down. The breakfast was amazing, all locally sourced ingredients, and very worthy of the many awards it has won. They definitely don't scrimp on the energy bills as the place was very toasty, in fact a wee bit too hot, had to turn the heating off. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again as I had the best time. Definitely 5* worthy.
