"At Craighead Care Home we're proud to offer a real home from home with a true sense of family. Located in Newport-on-Tay, with beautiful views of the River Tay and city of Dundee, we offer residential, nursing, dementia and respite care.As well as a comfortable lounge with piano for entertainment, and for residents who enjoy tinkering the ivories, our home has a separate dining room with easy access to the garden. We're fortunate to have three separate garden areas, and boast a greenhouse for green fingered residents, a wooden gazebo to provide a shaded spot for summer afternoons, and excellent views to take in over a cup of tea and good conversation."

My wife entered Craighead initially for 3 weeks respite . During that period I visited her each day for at least two hours. In that time I carefully assessed the quality of care, staff ratio to residents, meals and amenities. I also noted the excellent communication amongst all staffnand their care for the residents.nImportantly I also monitored my wife’ comfort and response to the transition and I have no doubt that by my wife’s demeanour that Craighead is the best place for her and she is in the best possible place
Craighead care home provides residents with a family environment. All staff are involved in all aspects of their lives and care deeply for them. At Craighead there is always fun and laughter especially at festival times and Christmas when staff dress up in their traditional wear. There’s always lots of music and entertainment to dance and sing along with residents.
