"At Craighead Care Home we're proud to offer a real home from home with a true sense of family. Located in Newport-on-Tay, with beautiful views of the River Tay and city of Dundee, we offer residential, nursing, dementia and respite care.As well as a comfortable lounge with piano for entertainment, and for residents who enjoy tinkering the ivories, our home has a separate dining room with easy access to the garden. We're fortunate to have three separate garden areas, and boast a greenhouse for green fingered residents, a wooden gazebo to provide a shaded spot for summer afternoons, and excellent views to take in over a cup of tea and good conversation."

Don't know about other care homes, but at Craighead care home staff treat residents as family and consider them as their own. Staff have good work ethics. Residents indulge in fun activities like exercise sessions, live music, bingo game, visit by therapy dog etc etc on weekly basis. Staff and management meetings on regular basis to raise up work and care standards. Nice tay river view and lovely premises with natural beauty. Love to be a part of carighead's team . Would recommend it.
Such a wonderful experience to me , I am really glad to part of this team . There is a mutual connection between management staff and residents. It’s helping to spread always happy mood at there.
We had to find somewhere for my in-laws to go for respite for a week and thanks to Sandra & Donna they where happy to accommodate. My in-laws seemed to enjoy there stay and would highly recommend.. Thank you to all staff concerned in Jane & Ians stay ....
Craighead has improved no end since the new management took over in the spring. Yes, communication must continue to improve. Daily activities are such fun and well organised by their activities organiser. A lot of the staff have been there long term which is always a good sign Getting to know, trust and like them very much
Claire Reid has been harassing people online. I wouldn’t trust her with the care of a ficus much less my grandparents
I love working at craighead as the Team Leader, the staff are amazing and it’s never a quiet day, always lots of activities going on, high standard of care provided. Lots of improvements made to the home in the last 6 months. Committed staff and staff that want the best for our residents. We are a welcoming bunch and look forward to meeting new residents and family members and continuing to build great relationships.
Craighead is a beautiful home. I love coming to my work. The team that I work with are amazing and the residents are looked after very well. This is their home away from home.
I've recently started at craighead care home and the staff are professional and friendly and very welcoming. Residents are well looked after and cared for. Also just for your information i am not the Claire reid that is mentioned in the review above.
Craighead is a very enjoyable place to work. Staff are friendly and spend time with the residents. Lots of activities go on in the home on a daily basis. Staff are very professional and caring towards residents and there families.
Started at Craighead Care Home in Jan 2023 as the Home Administrator. First time working in a care home, and I have to say, best move I have made, the staff made me feel very welcome, and are very committed to the care and wellbeing of all the residents. Having been there now for 3 months I now feel like I can say its our home, also the activities are amazing and there is something every day for the residents to enjoy. Roll on the next how ever many years I have to work at Craighead.
