My wife has received extremely efficient care and treatment at the fracture clinic, fracture ward and orthopedic ward. Hard working teams getting things done efficiently, explaining what and why they are doing things. Underwent surgery after major fracture, home after overnight stay with appropriate medication. No need to go to GP for prescription.
I have no words to describe my outrage at the emergency department in this hospital. People wait for more than 15 hours, the staff are indifferent, the doctors "work" as if they are dead. Complete incompetence and laziness. You are a shame for this profession. If you don't take emergency measures, I will not be surprised if someone does not die while waiting for the "emergency" in this hospital.!!
I was called for a ct scan yesterday at Craigavon hospital to cut down on the waiting list at the City hospital. Couldn't find the correct entrance but the kindest nurse took the time away to take me up to the entrance. My husband, who lives with Alzheimers, waited with my son in the car. Not only did she find them a convenient parking space, she brought a cup of tea and biscuits out to my husband!! I am sorry I forgot to ask her her name. In these days of people complaining about the NHS,I would like to say a massive thank you for the treatment we received at Craigavon hospital yesterday, for my scan results.
I felt sick, i went to my gp and i was told to attend to A&E in Craigavon Hospital asap. Bloods taken, ECG done, just waiting to be read. After 4 hrs of waiting on corridors i gave up, as i had to go home. There were people awaiting for 8hrs. Unbelievable and.. frustrating.
Total lack of empathy used phone first service for first time and won’t bother again. Spoken down to and felt like I was in school being chastised before being given my code to allow me to go to a&e. Health service has become a joke. Pay rise?? Pay cut needed more like.
I like to say ,, Big Thank you!,, To take care of my son David To all Blossom Hill Staff ! Especially Jullie, Louise and Finbar ! You are all amazing Heroes!
The staff don’t give a flying F about their patients! My mother has terminal cancer and was left in the waiting room for 6 hours just for blood results! Still no sign of her being seen to either, it’s absolutely atrocious. There was also a wee lady who was sitting in there for well over 8 hours after a heart attack and a blood clot! Do not go to these ones. Do the smart thing and go private, all the nhs care about is money money money.
Attended CAH minor injury unit with my daughter Lisa and the team are really professional and go the extra mile. Many Thanks
The organisation of responses is shocking and long waits could be greatly reduced. As with all places NHS the approach needs to be different.
Extremely caring and professional staff in the fracture clinic. Ok you may have to wait a little bit but the staff are absolutely second to none.
