Great place to stay if you are on a stag or hen doo. Facilities are basic, but it's what we needed for nearly 30 people staying. Only issue we had was there was no fire wood supplied for the fire pit or wood burning stove. Luckily one of us had a chainsaw and the friendly farmer directed us to a tree that blown down that we could cut up. Also a heads-up for those walking from bothy and bunkhouse it's not a 15 min walk to activities centre like we were told by a staff member on the phone, it's more like a 40 minute walk. But a good time had by all. And much cheaper than most places with an especially big group.
After a superb gorge walk, we had to try the Canadian Canoeing. Callum our instructor for the session, gave us an excellent introduction and guided us all safely down the River Spey, pointing out some of the impressive wildlife and views as we went. A thoroughly enjoyable session, with perfect weather and something we will definitely be repeating!
We went down to Craggan Outdoors as a Football Team to play Foot Golf. This was great fun, the course was picturesque and challenging and had the whole team smiling and laughing the whole way round. Price was very reasonable at £15pp for 18 holes. There was also a 9 hole option. Great facilities, lisenced cafe area with good selection of food and drink. The manager Keith was very friendly and great communication whilst dealing with our booking. We will be back :
My wife booked the gorge walk as a birthday present and we incorporated this into our weeks touring of Scotland this year. We arrived early and filled our spare time with a game of disk golf. The main event was well planned and we were hand held at every stage. My wife was apprehensive felt that the gorge walk may be too demanding for her. This was not the case and ably assisted by Ash and Rachel we both enjoyed our afternoon in the gorge immensely. We did not conquer Everest that afternoon but we did make a bit of a smash. Thank you Craggan Outdoors I would recommend this to anyone who would like to get out of their comfort zone and taste a little more adventure. Rosemary and Dave Kershaw
Had an amazing time last weekend, 20 of us done BattleZone as a hen party. Had such a laugh and got so competitive, highly recommend!
Great site.... Keith the owner was extremely friendly and has tons of activities including outdoor laser tag, golf and a full disc course!! The facility is very clean and professional food and snacks were available and my oldest son begged to go fishing for Rainbow Trout on the property. This site is a gem...... I encourage you to drop by and check the place out!!
Had a great time on the gorge walk! We saw the sign as we came into town and found spaces on the gorge walk for the next day. It was a good little hike, a little more challenging and wet! than expected, but felt in safe hands with the two instructors. Pack some shoes you don't mind getting wet! Great experience!
Friendly and affordable fun. Nice grounds and golf course. Ideal if you want a short round on the 9 hole or practice some putting. Fun for all the family. Would highly recommend
Brilliant day out. Clay pigeon shooting in the morning and climbing in the afternoon. The staff, particularly Ashley, Peter and Patrick were amazing and my daughters had an amazing time. Thanks to everyone involved.
Friendly & helpful staff made our taster SUP session a great success. Calvin age 8 gave it 10/10. 2 adults & 3 kids loved it so much, we're coming back tomorrow.
