A great little shop for all your darts and snooker needs with absolutely 0 pressure from the staff in the pursuit of making a sale. Had an hour this morning with ma boy trying about a hundred different sets of darts see picture in their purpose built darts alley. Prices, not sure, it's been over 30 years since I played for the local pub team, so I couldn't say. Obviously with the Internet at our fingertips we can compare prices and I didn't feel obliged to buy from there but I did. Simply because me boy got a feel for the arrows and although I'll compromise slightly on the quality of the board it's the darts that count so that's where ⅔ of his hundred quid budget went. Shop and staff get 5 from us. Great to see shops like this still on the high street. Toilet in the shop, parking is over the road in the local co-op car park.
I believe I was initially served by the owner who was quite rude and unprofessional. I required a new tip fitting and agreed it was late in the day however he repeatedly harped on about why I didn’t call to make an appointment as I can’t just turn up. I have used this place numerous times before and was never advised on having to book. My 1st encounter with this person who clearly struggles to smile. On the other hand, the young guy who fit my tip as always was brilliant and went above and beyond to help. Shame the old fella let him down. Won’t be going back Any customers planning on visiting this place, prob best to ring to check what terms and condition apply as you may need to book to buy a piece of chalk
Popped along today to purchase my first proper cue No pressure selling, happily left to our own devices while trying cues for around 30 minutes Settled on a cue and pain free purchase, even a small discount for buying a cue case combo. Will be returning in future :

Brilliant staff, able to try as many darts as you want and even got to have a game of pool after. Would highly recommend.
Has always been great service and they look after your cue. Over a few years these have taken my cue down twice for a smaller tip size as ive got more confident, also theyve fitted a titanium ferrule. Thought I was losing my touch until they fitted a new elkmaster and now its like a surgical instrument again and as good as new. They've also fitted me a break cue tip as well. Ive had a set of Aramiths from them as well good quality Cheers
Outstanding service! I bought my first snooker cue from here recently, and could have easily been overwhelmed with the choice of weight, tip size, etc. But the staff were really friendly and knowledgeable, and helped me to make a decision without putting any pressure on, by explaining things really clearly. I even got some free advice on technique while trying out the cues on the snooker table! Great value for money, and will definitely go back in future.
took a short run out to Craftsman Cues on recomendation of Gordon whittiker Clarance snooker club Hull ..Looking for a new cue ,had a short chat to Simon the owner and he suggested I go on the table and try a few out ... that are positioned all around the table .. totally spoilt for choice .. spent the best part of 3 hours and come away with a loverly cue , a Maximus premium cue ,case and extensions .. totally blown away with the whole experiance and such friendly people on hand for advice .. thank you so much and kind regards Steve.. Excellent work, very timely and incredibly reasonable prices for what they do. The shop is an absolute pleasure to visit, and they did a perfect job straightening and cleaning up my dad's 50 year-old cue, which is now as good as new and means the world to me. They come highly recommended.
Massive thanks to Dave and Luke who helped to identify and fix a tricky problem with my cue and completed the repair in just two days at a great price too cheap really…for the quality of service!. It was well worth the hour drive to visit their fantastic shop and I would have no hesitation in recommending this business to anyone looking for a new cue or minor repairs/refurbishment of their own cue.
