Discovered this gem of a shop online. Wonderfully run, family business in the UK. My 3rd order from these fine folks and always a smooth and quick order. Purchased a Barbour Bedale they ensured me it was 'Made In England' before shipping for this model and was over 50% cheaper than buying it in the shops here in Canada. Don't know how they do it but jackets are perfect. Customer service is very responsive and they usually ship within 24hrs with a tracking number provided. Great little find! Was looking for a particular Barbour jacket and found Cox the Saddler after googling. They had it in stock in my size at a discounted price too. I ordered on Sunday afternoon and it has just been delivered on Tuesday morning with no delivery charge with great communication emails on the way. Thank you very much!
Have been looking to replace my old Barbour for a number of years kept on putting it off as I was so comfortable in my old one. I tried a number of different models but couldn’t quite get on with any apart from the Beaufort . Seems Barbour are doing a lot more fashion fits in my opinion not made for proper sized men in any case I’m glad they have stayed true to history with the Beaufort . Finding one, even in official retailers , was extremely difficult. Long story short searched on line and came across Cox Saddlers , great service ordered the jacket and liner on a Saturday evening it arrived and had its maiden outing in the rain on Tuesday . Fantastic service kept informed about despatch and tracking . What a price , do not know how they do it . I have a Beaufort Classic jacket and liner for less than the jacket in retail outlets when you can find them . Very happy customer and will be shopping with them again .
Placed my first order with this company and they were excellent in every respect. My queries were answered very promptly and then I ordered a Barbour jacket with specific instructions which were followed. It was posted special delivery and so arrived the next day. I would 100% order from Cox the Saddler again with confidence.
Discovered this Gem of a company whilst looking for the best price on a Barbour waxed cap. They were by far the cheapest of any company that I could find and also had the cheapest international postal charges to Japan. I’m always paranoid ordering things like this that are normally super expensive in the United States. I spent about a month talking myself into purchasing my men’s Ashby because I was so nervous it wouldn’t be authentic. I’m glad I decided to go ahead and order. It took about three weeks before making it to Ohio, which I mainly blame on ordering during the holidays. Rest assured that the Barbour products they sell are most definitely authentic. Unfortunately, the U.S. dealers love to mark up the price because they don’t expect you to go looking anywhere else for a better deal. Be patient when waiting for your order to arrive, pay significantly less, and order from Cox the Saddler. Before ordering I went to a local dealer and tried on sizes to figure out what I needed and after I received my coat in the mail it fit perfectly!
I recently ordered a Barbour Corbridge and received it very quickly. I don't know how you guys are able to price so reasonably but I discovered your store online and you will be my go-to shop in the future. I was skeptical in ordering my Barbour jackets online but heard about Cox The Saddler through online forum referrals and decided to place an order. For those wondering, they’re an official reseller I checked on Barbour business that is run by two ? people, but I mostly chatted with Sara on the measurements. Shipping times were prompt–I got my orders in less than a week to Canada and products came packaged properly. Fantastic prices at a great deal rather than buying it from a retail giant in North America. Some other notes to be aware of prior to ordering, make sure sizing and country of manufacturing origin for the product is identified if that’s important to you, eg. Made in England versus X, as the return process isn’t paid for I may be wrong. Either way, my products were fitted and I would order again. Can’t wait to refer all my friends. Thanks Sara and team! I recently purchased a Barbour Northumbria from Cox the Saddler, as they are not sold here in the States. I now have 3 of them, all purchased through Cox the Saddler. I dealt with Sara, and want to share my experience. The original coat was lost at some point with the Royal Mail strike. Sara offered and sent a replacement coat and had the original tracked and returned to Cox, to avoid delaying delivery of my Northumbria. She was polite, professional and efficient throughout the process, turning what could have been a horrible experience into a lifelong customer. I am confident I will do business with Cox the Saddler again, and tell everyone I know of my experience. I am hopeful this company will continue to thrive, as this level of customer service should be rewarded in the marketplace today. Thanks to Sara and the rest of the team at Cox the Saddler!
