Incredibly rude young woman working there of a Saturday morning. Her bad manners made me uncomfortable and I ended up not purchasing the items I was looking at as a result. Majority of things are pretty overpriced. Shame as I have always enjoyed browsing that store.
Great stock! The store is also laid out really nicely :
Ive always shopped at Cow and Bubble Vintage because I support the ethos of things not going to landfill and vintage pieces are so much better than fast fashion. However the latest Cow shop at the bottom of Hockley is a disappointment to me for 2 reasons- one is the music is really LOUD - you can barely hear yourself think - its definitely not background music and even the assistants have to shout over it which should be giving them a message? - also the policy of not being able to return or exchange items is ludicrous given they have no facility for you to try anything on other than a long mirror on the shop floor? and some things you cant `slip on` over your clothes as was suggested to me. I can understand not refunding but not exchanging - Cow you are better than that - it saddens me to say I wont be back to this particular shop
Lovely clothes here. The space is big and there is a big range of styles. They do some really nice reworked tops. Prices can seem a little high. Would definitely visit again. Follow their instagram and other social media for updates about stock.
Great selection of vintage and slightly newer clothing. Prices were on the higher side but not bad. A vintage alpaca wool cardigan cost me £36. Staff was nice but not that helpful, they were off doing there own thing at the back. Overall some great pieces but a bit expensive.
bought a jumper from here and didnt realise till i got home that it had serious dry rot all over and so it instantly started tearing when i put it on. this occurs on old black clothes of a certain fabric and condition when not looked after. i paid £35 for this jumper and brought it back to the shop with tag and receipt only to meet with a very condescending staff member who insinuated i ripped it myself. waste of money on bad quality, will not be returning.
Loved the inside of the store. Had some pretty neat stuff in there for decent prices. Some things are a bit to expensive imo but that can vary. Worth a look!
Overpriced and heavily creased clothes. I think they would shift more stock if they took everything DOWN by 10quid. The staff do not seem inviting and we saved our money and got better pre-loved items elsewhere. Will never visit again. C.O.W. stands for 'Can only wish' .....to afford anything in here
Firstly, this shop is extremely overpriced. £80 for a cut up shirt? Secondly, the staff are horrible and rude, in particular Alyssa, she was giving me and my friend dirty looks and refused to answer our questions about some of the clothing. Not a very nice atmosphere in there at all!
Nice selection of unique clothings and worth a visit if you're shopping in Nottingham! It's very organized and the store ambience is pretty cool. Some items are pricier than the others so it's up to individuals preferences if they want to splurge or whatnot.
