Absolutely loved my experience with The Style Lounge - hair and make-up ladies were hilarious, prompt and so friendly, and made us all feel at ease. Make-up and hair lasted throughout the day definitely recommend airbrush make-up! and was absolutely beautiful. Bridesmaids looked incredible, as did the MOB and MOG, and everyone had nothing but good words for the Style Lounge Team. Thank you so much. x
I had Emma as my MUA and Tasha as my hairstylist for my wedding and they did the most amazing job. The most loveliest ladies and they really looked after me and my bridesmaids and my mum. We all felt beautiful and they really understood the look I wanted to go for. Honestly amazing service. Thank you for making me feel like the most beautiful bride.
After a fairly last minute unsuccessful trial with a different company, I was so relieved The Style Lounge could fit us in, and better yet make up was totally perfect! Our make up artist Charlotte was absolutely amazing, at both the trial which luckily was my make up for my hen! and on the big day she totally put me and my bridesmaids at ease, was super friendly and so knowledgeable, pretty sure I called her a wizard at one point. My bridesmaids all looked completely stunning and I loved my make up so much, Charlotte knew what would look right for the day even if I was nervous about having lots on. Can't praise her highly enough : Thank you!!
I can't thank or recommend these beauties enough. I don't have much confidence but they really made me feel beautiful on my wedding day, I felt confident, radiant and like a queen! They did both my hair and my make up to perfection! They went the extra mile for me and I had no worries at all! So many of my friends and family cried not one of them have seen me with a full face of makenup and such elegant hair. Usually I throw my hair up in a bun and wear no make-up For for me this was a first! They were taken back and so was I. Thankyou to all of you for everything you did! To future brides, I honestly swear by these guys, you wont find better, they are dedicated to making you feel like a queen! You can trust them to ensure you look and feel elegant!
The girls were amazing start to finish I had Brittany as my makeup artist and Leona as my stylist and their work was amazing and they were friendly, punctual and helpful they couldn’t do enough and made the whole experience relaxed and fun! So happy really made my day so special and all my bridesmaids look stunning and were really happy. Thank-you for The Style Lounge for making me and my bridesmaids feel beautiful!
I was really nervous about getting my makeup done and going in blind without a trial. I don't wear makeup day-to-day and I was pretty convinced that whatever it looked like it was going to be too much and I would panic and end up wiping most of it off. But Brittany did my makeup perfectly and exactly how I would have done it except with far higher skill and quality of course. I was quite vague about how I wanted my hair as well, and she did it so much better than I could have imagined - someone actually told me it was the best bridal hair they've seen. I know my bridesmaids were really happy with theirs as well and everyone looked so good!
I used the Style Lounge to do the hair for myself and my bridal party in October. Everything from the initial enquiry to Emma arriving on the day was so smooth and seamless. We couldn't have asked for anything more from Emma on the day. She was able to create everything each of us wanted and nothing was too much trouble, even with some last minute changes and touch ups. Her chattiness and calmness definitely helped us on what is a nerve wrecking morning! I would definitely recommend the Style Lounge to anyone looking for wedding hair in the Yorkshire area.
Tash and Lisa from The Style Lounge were absolutely brilliant! I booked bridal hair and makeup, with a bridal hair and makeup trial, and hair for five bridesmaids. I don’t know much about hair and makeup, I usually do barely any, so I was very nervous about booking a stylist. But from the outset Lisa was great with helping me to organise everything and answering all my questions. At the trial Tash was super helpful and reassuring. She talked me through everything step by step, checked I was happy with everything she was doing, and gave me options for what could be done differently if I wanted any changes. We also discussed some serious concerns one of my bridesmaids had due to health issues, and Tash had exactly the experience to advise, and even offered to speak to my bridesmaid directly. This completely reassured us and turned a potentially very upsetting situation into a real positive! On the wedding day itself Tash was calm and efficient, and made sure we all looked wonderful in time for the ceremony. She adapted to everyone’s specific needs and preferences, and happily made the tweaks I asked for after my trial. Booking The Style Lounge was a great decision, and I was in safe hands for my wedding day!
Finding a company that can attend your home and work their magic with your hair and makeup is just perfect for me. Style Lounge is my definite “go to” for any special occasion or function that I need to attend. Fully professional team and always extremely punctual. Cannot recommend Lisa & the Style Lounge team enough !
The girls who came were amazing at what they do. They were so polite and well mannered. They made the experience extra special! I would definitely come back and book with the style lounge again, they were just so professional and made me look even more beautiful on my wedding day!
