Safe storage site. Mandy is very friendly and will accommodate your storage needs.. The site is good value too. Have had our van stored there for a over 7 years now with no issues at all. Can highly recommend. The only real issue is there is no fob access and you need to arrange to collect and drop off your van but this has never caused us a problem at all.
Good secure storage but unfortunately not permitted to enter site to carry out any maintenance on your caravan which would be very advantagous. Any work we need to do will have to be carried out whilst on holiday.
BEWARE! This storage facility does not offer 24 hour access. Upon making a recent enquiry to store my motorhome, I was informed by the manager that access is by prior arrangement only and that this is further dependent upon someone being available to let you in/out. It was also made clear to me that it's 'supervised' access only so there is no privacy. Furthermore, this company requires 12 months rent in advance.
Seven years of hassle free storage, Russ and Mandy always on hand to assist especially when either one of us were on our own to collect / drop-off. Good security with CCTV with no issues at all. Servicing and repairs arranged on site so saved hours over the years not having to take caravan out to service centres. I would highly recommend this site as Russ and Mandy really look after you.
Used them to store my caravan for about 5 years now and they’re been really good. Not had any break ins or anything like that and find the collection and deliveries really easy - they’re open every weekend and can even deliver it home for you if you book in advance. They also do caravan servicing onsite and you can pay to have the van cleaned before you take it away. The servicing is about the same price as taking it somewhere but you don’t have the hassle of picking it up and taking it, so well worth it to me.
Terrible site! We have used this site for the last few years. Every time we have a few rainy days our bay is inches deep in water also under trees which makes the van green. We have asked several times to be relocated, to no avail. Says she is full but have seen her booking new people on site. The worst thing is access, you have to phone to go to the site and sometimes she isnt there when needed. We needed to do work on our van but access was one hour a week apart. We decided enough was enough and found a new site. We paid six months site fees two weeks ago. Guess what? No refund. Avoid like the plague!
Couldn't be better! We have tried a number of different storage facilities over the years and I wish we'd found this one first as it would have saved a lot of trouble. When it's your pride and joy that you are entrusting to someone you want to know that it is in safe hands and with Mandy and Russ we are confident that no harm is going to come to it. No matter what time of the day or week we have needed to access the 'van we have been met promptly and cheerfully at the site and given whatever assistance we have needed to hook up or drop off. The on-site servicing and cleaning services have made it a lot easier to make sure that the caravan is ready for action at any time. Many thanks
We have stored our motorhomes, trailer and cars with Mandy and Russ for the past 9 years, both at Little Lever and at Heywood. The site has 24 hour CCTV and supervised entry and exit, and we have never had any issues or concerns. They offer more than just storage, they also provide on site motorhome and caravan cleaning, battery charging service, habitation checks, towbar fitting etc, all by fully qualified fitters. They have even delivered our van for warranty servicings and MOT. We have always found them to be very generous with their time and skill, when we and other clients have had problems, they have gone the extra mile to help rectify the situation. Mandy and Russ are committed to providing a reasonably priced service and we have no hesitation in highly recommending them.
Never park your caravan here. Beware. No security. Be prepared to spend hours cleaning your van due to trees. Got my beautiful Bailey Pageant broken into. Luckily just door slight damage but stole my tv. Also noticed many others had been broken into. I was very upset especially paying £375 a year for what. What for me most was the lack of concern from the owners. They are just happy to take your money and couldn't care less. Found a new site for less money and great security. IT PAYS TO SHOP AROUND AND TRAVEL A BIT.
You have to phone all the time to see if you can get your van out or return as there's no one to open the gates sometimes can't get your van back because there delivering a van to Wales or wherever, not happy.
