Warm and welcoming establishment. Lots of seating and the staff are great. Table service and tabs not a problem. Out door area with a pool room.  And the roof is thatch

A lovely tatched building directly in the middle of Lucan village and facing yhe river, park and ducks. In 4 parts, bar, lounge, upstairs for functions and restaurant (Reeds-on-the-river).
Old fashion designed bar, cosy & friendly and good for watching sport.
Modern and comfy lounge.
Pleasant restaurant. Overall a nice place, very central.  Bit expensive for food.

I was there for lunch and it's a pretty spot. The food was lovely, the staff were very attentive and it was spotless.

Steak on a stone. I was a bit put off at first by the price and the fact you've pretty much gotta cook it yourself... but it was worth every cent!
