Lovely hotel set in nice grounds. We stayed overnight as we were attending a wedding nearby, both the hotel owner and his son were friendly and helpful, letting us check in early and even helping us get back to the hotel when the local taxi man decided to not answer his phone. The hotel decor felt a bit dated to me, but there wasn't anything wrong with it, it was clean and tidy. The room we booked was en-suite and was a good size with a nice view of the lawn. The only slight gripe was that the shower didn't have very good pressure, but it's not enough to mark it down to a 4 star review. Breakfast was good, a good choice, locally sourced food and very tasty. If you're looking to stay in the area then I definitely recommend it!

I booked a stay as a birthday gift for my brother and wife. I received a lovely handwritten letter to confirm everything with a voucher enclosed. They had a lovely relaxing stay and were extremely well looked after. Highly recommended.

Very warm welcome, proprietors very accomadating, really nice breakfast, rooms comfortable. Whole place a little cluttered, but very homely feeling, felt very comfortable.Overall very recomended.

Great place for couples.  Family run hotel with fabulous food. Have now been here three times and always got the same high standards
