Staff were lovely and food was great. Unfortunately the only downside was the beds were extremely uncomfortable and were in need of replacing. The rooms were however, very spacious and bathroom towels and soaps were supplied as well as tea and kettle etc. Flat screen, smart tvs too made it very enjoyable too! Overall would definitely go again but it’s a shame it was difficult to get a good nights sleep as the mattresses were extremely worn down.
Today Myself and my son walked in to the County Hotel to have breakfast, we have no idea time finished for breakfast and they stopped serving it. But the kind manager, Katie, allowed us to get some breakfast anyway and was very accommodating. Not only that, but when we came to pay they gave it to us free of charge, from the kindness of their hearts. Highly recommend it here, breakfast was delicious and the staff were lovelier. Thank you once again Katie. We really appreciate and enjoyed it
The hotel is in a great location,with parking provided @ £5.00 a night. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room was clean.nMy 2 downsides to this hotel aren1. I found the bed to be hard and uncomfortable.However I was very tired and I slept for most of the night.n2. I was unable to use the toilet because of its location. I'm a regular size personmale, and i found it uncomfortable to sit on the toilet to relieve myself.
My Dad and I stayed here for 4 nights and we had a lovely experience. The hotel is easy walking distance into town and the room was really good for us and our 2 dogs. The breakfast buffet is excellent value at £6.50 pp and includes Bacon,Sausages, mushrooms, hash browns toast andbeans with OJ, Tea and coffee with all the cereal and pastrie options as well. The staff are all lovely. Very friendly and service minded. We would happily recommend it as a decent place to stay and a good central base to explore the lovely beaches of Newgale, Nolton Haven, Broad Haven and St. Davids which are ALL an easy 15/20 min drive from the hotel.
Nice clean rooms. Unfortunately we had booked a twin room thinking it's a double room, so had to pay extra for the room change.nLocation next to the road/traffic junction, so may be a bit noisy in the morning when you wake up.nParking available 5 pounds a day.nnHas a bar and restaurant in case you'd like food inhouse. Overall nice experience.
