Very very poor. Spent 3 hours trying to spend 3k on a gun only to end up walking out with it cancelled off my licence and ending the sale. Will not go there again for any sort of sales

Had my first PCP rifle from there today and all staff were extremely helpful, I even ended up getting some pellets stuck and they removed them quite quickly. Cannot recommend enough. Thank you for such polite service.

I've been coming here for 20+ years since they had the other shop in the nearby high street. Always made to feel welcome even if I only go once or twice a year. Its a 25 mile round trip but their prices are very competitive and I would rather go and collect my goods rather than use a mail order company, however they do offer this service if you are out of the area. For instance the Jack Pyke spinner target £13.50 here and varying from 15 to 30 pounds elsewhere. Cant go wrong with that !

Go to Chris Potter if you want a good experience buying guns, the owners talk down to you, haven't got a clue what service means, get stroppy over the phone and will get annoyed if you use them for RFD services. Waste of time, pay the premium and get your cartridges from Just Cartridges. Update : After leaving the review, I received a call asking why I left the bad review, stating that The person on the phone was extremely rude to me, despite the fact I buy 2000 cartridges a month, to which the reply was "Well maybe there were external reasons why they were rude" which is laughable, be professional or don't be customer facing. The original dealer I spoke to called and CW said they had already arranged the shipping, which Simpsons were in the process of arranging. I have worked in the service industry for 20 years and have never once been short or rude to a client over the phone. Please take some customer service classes at ALL levels of the business.

I bought my SG from here as a complete newbie. The team where very patient and knowledgeable and wanted to provide a good service not push a sale. Was taken into another room and shown how to strip down the gun, clean and reassemble. Took me multiple attempts and they where encouraging the whole time. This level of service hasn't been provided by other sellers I've been to since.

A friend recommended a visit to Country Way to source a decent pair of wellies, and I ended up treating myself to a new air rifle too! There was no hard selling, no up-selling, and I’ve had a couple of enjoyable chats with Tim lengthy, both our faults and others in this friendly, family run business. Excellent service from all members of the team, and Hollie has knowledge and advice regarding the air rifles way beyond her years. I’ve 40 years’ experience with break-barrel Webleys, but she told me everything I needed to know and more about the new Weihrauch HW100KT and accessories, alternative options, and how to set everything up. Very happy with the experience, the products, …and the cats are adorable!!!
