Very friendly restaurant who serve good quality food. We usually go for the roast dinner which is around £12 per head on Sunday. Plates have definitely reduced in size since we first started coming here 15 years ago. Nice atmosphere and very close to the beach. Staff carry your full plate back to your table which is a nice touch.
Food was good, only comment would be, cheap sliced bread. Would expect some fresh crusty bread with prawn cocktail etc. Staff very friendly and helpful. Desert trolley was the star of the show. Why does it have to be custard or ice cre or cream, what's wrong with and! instead of or?Food: 4/5
Came with a large party for Sunday carvery. Loved the food ,the service was very good and the puddings superb. The fact you can take them home such a brilliant idea. Will not hesitate to recommend you to as many people as possible. Well done!
Lovely carvery, lovely friendly staff, nothing to much for them and the sweet trolley is to die for. Reasonably priced for quality food. Will definitely come back.
Can't praise this restaurant and all the staff highly enough, 18 people in our group and they coped with ease, the food was cooked to perfection, the deserts were, well unmissable, the staff were very professional and friendly, drinks were reasonably priced too. Like I've said I couldn't fault a thing..

Happened to be passing at Sunday lunchtime and four hungry faces walked in without booking and were found a table. I have to say we all had the carvery inc one veggie and all agree it was possibly the best carvery we've had anywhere. Great choice of vegetables, two choices of potatoes and three choices of meats. Excellent value at around £13 a head. The desserts were superb too according to those that had them I didn't preferring a coffee. Highly recommended!!
Excellent carvery with a huge selection of vegetables. Very enjoyable and reasonably priced. Large selection of delicious desserts. Very good service. I was glad not to be sitting near the kitchen area as there was a loud constant buzzing noise which I would have found intolerable.Food: 5/5
Really good warm welcome. Good old fashioned West Country hospitality at its best. Plenty of friendly, attentive waiting staff and a polite, efficient young barman. We felt extremely well looked after. We enjoyed our carvery main with a rainbow choice of vegetables, no less than 8 different options to choose from. The chefs worked hard keeping fresh top ups of vegetables coming. It was great to see the sweet trolley, again with an extensive choice of desserts. Also we noted excellent attention to hygiene from the staff and hand sanitizer available prior to the carvery. The menu had plenty of other options too. We would thoroughly recommend eating here if you stay in Westwood Ho, which itself is a gorgeous spot with extensive attractive sea front and South West coastal path.
