Been here a few times for both food and drinks. The food is generally very tasty and nicely presented. The staff are friendly and attentive and were more than willing to accommodate various dietary restrictions and also specific drinks requests. The bar staff know their cocktails and are able to make most drinks, even if they aren't featured on the menu. A bit on the pricey side but a nice place to go if you want to treat yourself or someone else!

I had dinner with my partner on Saturday and we thoroughly enjoyed it. I had the tuna and my partner had the steak both of which I recommend.  The service was good as the staff was approachable and friendly and our requests were attended promptly. The atmosphere of the restaurant is trendy yet very friendly which is a plus for me.

Really great brunch place. The food was lovely and beautifully presented spicy avocado was incredible! But the best thing about it was the amazing service. Our waiter put up with several requests to amend the dishes we ordered with smiley patience. Recommend!

When I arrived here yesterday for the first time I couldn't believe my eyes: what a lovely looking restaurant. I was even more excited to see booths - my favourite type of seating for dining - so of course my friend and I wanted to sit in one. But when I asked I was abruptly informed by a rather surly employee that all the booths had already 'been requested'. I was really disappointed as several were empty and it was just after 6pm, but I assumed that guests would be arriving soon. However, we left at 8.30pm and most of the booths were still free. It's a real shame because we weren't asked how long we thought we would be many customer-focused restaurants would have given us the option to sit there for a few hours and the response I received was suspiciously dismissive. It made me wonder whether there was another reason why we weren't permitted to sit in this area. I wish establishments would realise the importance of good customer service because it has put me off going there again. Such a shame as the food was good and the interior of the restaurant is both aesthetically pleasing and comfortable. The general service could have been more efficient, but that wasn't a major issue. What is an issue, though, is a lack of communication and poor manners.

Worst service in a London restaurant ever. Two meals came to the table cold, after a reheat the corn dumplings had gone hard like concrete, after which another wait for fresh dumplings. Which took a while with the slow and incompetent staff. They walked away twice in the middle of taking our orders.  Some of our friends left earlier and paid their part of the bill. When our final bill came, their food was still listed on the bill and not deducted from the final sum. When this was pointed out, the waiter told us we were wrong and that all had been taken care of. When he finally inspected the bill he saw it was wrong, he offered no apology. Out of spite he gave the change 7 pounds in 50p coins.  The quality of the food is also very hit and miss. Some of the food was great and came in large quantity, whereas most of the dishes were tiny and not substantial enough for a main course.

As it's just round the corner from our office, have had lunch here several times and never been disappointed. Been getting better since it first opened view months ago. Good imaginative food, friendly staff and great decor.  There is a lunch menu, which although not the deal of the century, changes often and usually very nice. At the most recent visit I had the pork chop with a chilli and pineapple salsa and green beans - it was wonderful.

I've been twice here now. The first for a meal and the second as part of an organised party.  Really lovely quality food, but the group meal I attended was very special and extremely well organised by the friendly staff. All the staff and performers were fabulous. The whole party could not have asked for more. Not much more I can add except to say that if you're looking for somewhere unique to have a meal with cabaret for a large group I highly recommend Counter.

Great cocktails, often with a little local twist. The brunch menu is delicious I really recommend the Nutella stuffed French toast! and the coffee is good. Lunches are also good and the service is friendly. It's great for dates or hanging out with friends

Had our wedding reception here in October 2016 and it was perfect  we go relatively frequently for dinner and cocktails, too. Although the menu can seem a little limited at times. I think it was better when they were varying it more frequently, and changing the cocktail menu roaringly frequently too.

Would have given this 3.5 stars if I had the option, very nice place but could be improved.  The space looks very nice, the service is average but staff are friendly, coffee was not bad and drinks are nice. The food is a little off though, generally a little bland.  Great place to come for brunch and with a little work would be perfect!
