As good as it gets for a great choice in Whiskeys and great live music. Highly recommended.
What a fun place! Seemed small when we first got in and then realized there was another semi-outdoor room with a whole Tom Waits theme, then another room linked to that one, then a whole open air area with a stage for concerts… such a great spot!
We went to the bar for the live band. Unfortunately the gig was cancelled but we stayed anyway. A great pub. Barstaff were very welcoming, great atmosphere. The fact that the place hasn't been tarted up really appealed. Great find, next time we're in Cork, we'll be back.
Must visit! Pints are great, staff are so good. Live music, loads of different outdoor areas.
Super Bar, has great live gigs and even comedy night. Ger the bar manager is a super star, lovely chap. Nice fire on the quieter nights

Coughlans Bar is a great old style pub for meeting friends, enjoying live music and just generally socialising in a great atmosphere! The staff a very friendly and attentive! I had a fantastic pint of Guinness! I've been in Cork for nearly 12 years and I have to say I must frequent this pub more often, I've been missing out!
Lovely traditional pub with intimate 60 seat performance space. Nice staff and cool outdoor beer garden.
