2 stars because they did a good job of moving the piano, but a horrible job communicating.  The movers were nice, quick, efficient and pleasant. The office lady, Tracy,  however is a different story.  She told me they would call me the buyer and the seller the day before with a pickup window.  They always told me that they would call 1/2 hour before pickup.  They never called me or the seller the day before. Instead they sent an email.  I let the seller know myself.  They called the seller 1/2 hour before, but I got a call when they were at the seller's house that they were waiting for me to pay!  I confirmed that they would call me 3 times!@  Once by phone and twice by email.  3 times!  They knew I was going to meet them there to pay the seller when they arrived.  When I confronted the office lady about not calling me she said they would leave and come back.  I told her no way, that I am on my way and they need to wait.  She was very rude and abrasive and suggested this was MY fault!  She was so nice when I talked to here to schedule, but the minute something goes wrong, she is no longer nice.  They lost one star because they didn't call.  They lost one star because she was rude and abrasive.  They lost one star because she suggested this was my fault and never even bothered to apologize.  She could have saved 2 stars if she would have just apologized...  Tracy, Call me to sincerely apologize and I will give you 0 to 2 stars back depending on the apology.

Not your average piano move. Due to construction failure, our studio was moving from its third-floor space to another location. Our landlord created a nearly impossible obstacle course to navigate. Stairs were torn out; the freight elevator was locked, and the loading dock was blocked during our move. We changed our move date with Allied more times than I care to count. Tracey was exceptionally patient. On the day the piano was moved, three workmen arrived and thoughtfully accessed the exit routes. The piano was thoroughly assessed prior to any movement and this paperwork was given to me for approval upon their exit. The patient and professional manner in which they worked was more than I expected under the circumstances. Allied went above and beyond the call of duty.

I emailed Allied Piano about moving a piano for me and they were very speedy on getting back to me. They gave me a very reasonable quote and sent someone that day. The delivery men were wonderful and efficient. Very polite. I don’t remember their names but the piano was delivered in the afternoon of March 1. I would highly recommend Allied Piano movers. Awesome job and thank you all.
