A fantastic and accessible supermarket. Everything you need and want and a post office counter! Plentiful parking and lovely helpful staff. They even run a food bank collection for the Bradford on Avon Hub. We love the ducks on the pond. Kathy
This coop should be closed and replaced by more responsible franchise. They rarely have any hot food or vegetarian options so forget about coming here to buy some lunch. 1/5 of the shelves are empty and not replenished, prices are also higher than the supermarkets around. Came here number of times and today is my last time visiting this store. Disappointing…
Understaffed and overworked. Also the post office opening times are akin to a soviet backwater village from the 80s. Better off walking to your intended recipient to hand them the item personally.
i would give it no stars, but the lowest you can give is 1. rude staff that don't know what they're doing and take ages. false advertising - there was a deal for 2 for £1 and after we wasted our precious time in the awfully long queue with minimal staff tending to it, we went to pay, then the rude staff member on duty told us the price was £2.75, we then spoke up to this injustice and she went to the back of the store to change the sign and prove she was right. we left the store after not making a fuss, empty handed and disgraced. we are appalled and will never be stepping foot in the inadequate store ever again. rude staff shape the minds of young people, and considering that this shop in near a school they are creating a colony of rude, unjust, unprofessional people. this should not be allowed and something has to change. very disappointing.
Just because the staff are treated poorly by some customers, doesn't give them the right to speak to polite customers like DIRT. If you don't want to work then You should quit. Find another job.
I ordinarily wouldn't leave a review for a supermarket because, really, what's the point. But the Co-op here is poor from start to finish. 1 "Express" style shops ramp up the price of their stock, I know, but they really are taking liberties with their pricing of some of the basic items here. 2 At least you only have to pay those extortionate prices when they have what you want on the shelves. Which it often doesn't. 3 The Post Office, despite a poster that claims "we're open if the shop's open" is, in fact, more often than not closed when the shop is open. Also seems to be forever out of stamps. 4 The staff, at best, mostly look like they'd rather be anywhere else and, at worst, border on being surly. Although I'm led to believe that this is a horrible shop to work in with atrocious management so some sympathy with them there. The one upbeat member of staff appears to have now left, sadly. If you've got the time, take the walk down the hill into the center of town to, oh sorry, another Co-op. A shame they were the ones to take that site over.
I used to shop here a few years ago until relocating, but have recently moved back to the area. What a difference. It was so lovely to see familiar faces in the store, and hope I did not get anyone in trouble for talking for a while and catching up. The store looks quite different but in a good way and staff seemed jovial. I was able to get what I needed and was always met with a smile. I think there have been changes lately, and I think for the better. Now my local store again
I must say every single staff member in there are just brilliant. Been going there on route to my job about 4 months now and I always walk out of there smiling even if I'm having a bad day! Feels like an independent shop, thanks guys
As a local and regular shopper I find staff unhelpful and sometimes rude, invisible management, very long queues all the time, lack of tobacco, I'm usually over charged then have to go back, prices on shelves don't correspond to the till, no local produce and only fresh produce is in the bakery. Lacks household/gift items. Overall a poor experience.
Well kept happy shop, the smell of fresh baked goods in the morning is always a treat. Staff treat you like family and always have a smile even when they are clearly worn out. Keep it up guys you are all doing a smashing job.
