This is an excellent place to visit and we thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Amazing to get up so close to some of the birds, especially in the 'weathering' area. The display was brilliant, ours included the 'secretary bird' ... what a strange ole looking bird that is!! 'like a chicken on stilts' is how my daughter described it!! Very reasonably entry fee and I would definitely come back again. Loved it!!
This was a wonderful gem, and I've never been so close to so many birds of prey! This is good for adults and kids alike, though do make sure to watch smaller children in the first open area as the birds are not in cages. The demonstrations were great - we saw one that as about 40 minutes and had 3 birds. The workers were informative, and birds very enjoyable to watch. Make sure to check out the birds beyond the demonstration seating area - it's not the most intuitive pathway but houses quite a few other birds.
This falconry center was absolutely amazing. Lots of different birds to see, all very well kept. We stayed for one show which we really enjoyed and would have stayed for more if we could. My 3 year old became a little bored as children do, but the center obviously understands this and children under four go free, so absolutely no complaints there!
Simply one of the coolest places I’ve ever been to! The demonstrations they have 3 times a day are incredible with a large variety of birds being shown. In addition there are many birds of prey here to see up close! You can tell the staff here really love the birds and are very knowledgeable about them!
Amazing place, the staff are so knowledgeable and passionate about the birds. Amazing that there were so many baby chicks from these amazing birds of prey is testament to care they receive. Well worth a visit and we will be back in the future
Fantastic! Don't follow the sat nav though, just follow the brown road signs. It was so good that we stayed for most of the day so we could see all of the 3 flying displays. Lovely to see the birds freely flying during the displays, and to be taught more about these birds and to see their behaviours in person. Tons of birds on site although easily missed, could do with more signs Also allowed to leave the site visit garden center or cafe and then return for the later displays.
Amazing display getting to see the birds in flight and up close and personal. Lots of interesting facts and knowledge about the birds. Lovely walk around to see such interesting birds that they’re supporting and successfully breeding to restore numbers. Excellent value for money as you can return to see all three displays with just the one entrance fee.
We had such a great day at Cotswold Falconry Centre. Really enjoyed watching the birds and learning from the staff. The centre has 3 shows throughout the day and we made the entire day out of the visit with the shows and walking the grounds superb deal for the admission. Our hotel staff recommended the centre and very glad they did. We will definitely return when we're back in the Cotwolds.
Nice experience... ticket for adults at 12 pounds...we saw different kinds of eagles and owls and at 11.30, 1.30 and 15.30 they are doing a demonstration show with birds which was really beautiful especially for kinds. Totally recommend it
Loved our time here, because you get so close to the birds, whilst they are wrong in the "Weathering", and the flying displays were great, with herd of deer in the background. The centre is breeding birds of prey, as there is a crisis in wild vulture numbers due to poisoning, we also learnt about the methods of feeding etc. Great attraction and educational.
