Visited a couple of times in the last few months. Wonderful venue with lots to do and see. Big open spaces with lots of well looked after animals. It was lambing season, which was particularly interesting to watch the lambs being born live. My child has additional needs, but had no problems on the day. Play parks for young and older children, plus plenty of places for picnics and food/drink can be bought on site. Will definitely be back.
Myself and my partner visited today. It was a lovely visit in the sunshine. Thoroughly enjoyed feeding all the animals outside and even got to bottle feed some lambs! It's a great place for kids as lots of play equipment but was also nice for couples like us who enjoy the outdoors and interacting with lots of animals! I would highly recommend buying the animal feed, it's great fun to go around and feed the animals! Overall a lovely day out Food & drinks: Had a lovely meal in the restaurant, highly recommend the burgers! A little bit pricey, but to be expected within a park like this.
A wonderful day out! Our little boy loved getting up close to the animals, petting them and feeding them. The indoor and outdoor play areas are excellent. Our boy didn’t want to go home! The food on offer in the restaurant was excellent and very reasonable in price. We will definitely be back.
Lovely farm. Better when the weather is good. Feel there are less animals at the moment!? My 3 year old boy loved seeing the piglets, feeding the goats and playing on the sand area inside. Saw lambing and was interesting. Nice few hours out Rooms: 3/5
I visited with my son in law & 3 grandchildren 4/04/23. We had a wonderful day, there was lots to see & the grandchildren really enjoyed the play park’s & indoor play area. The staff at the entrance were cheerful & helpful & in the cafe. I have one suggestion, we queued for 50 minutes for my granddaughter to have her face painted! Perhaps there could be 2 or 3 people painting children’s faces in future as it is very popular. Having said this we will be back.
A really great family attraction where kids can be kids, get out in nature, learn about farming and our native farm animals and rare breeds. The kids play areas and air pillows are a great favourite and the food is really top quality. We've camped here too twice before and absolutly loved it. Would highly recommend.Service: 5/5
We didn't stay here, just enjoyed the Farm Park for a day trip. The location is beautiful and the Farm Park is an excellently run attraction, with friendly, knowledgeable staff, a very positive educational and farming ethos and a great day out. Seeing newly born animals was amazing lambs, piglets, calves and guinea pigs in a very safe, caring environment. There is lots to keep youngsters entertained including an indoor barn with sand play, soft play and tractors to drive. Outdoor play areas, feeding stations and fabulous animals. There is a nice restaurant, with a good range of meals, including vegan options, although I felt it was a bit expensive. Lovely gift shop.
Visited for a day with our grandchildren agreed between 10 and 5 weeks, very impressed, something for everyone. Excellent sand pits and play areas for the little ones and very informative boards about the Farming year. Only visited for a day, didn't stay here but heard positive comments from those who were staying there.Rooms: 5/5
What a lovely place to stay, the pitches are large and spacious, we booked a premium pitch with electric hook up and water, half hard standing with grass the toilet/shower block was absolutely spotlessly clean and smelled fresh at all times, the staff were really helpful and friendly. When booking to stay you get a pass for access to the animal farm which is really nice for the kids, all the animals look well looked after, the gift shop is lovely, the cafe is great, and really dog friendly, we had dinner in the Ox Shed restaurant, again dog friendly and the food was delicious! All in all a fantastic place to stay, and can imagine summer it will be really busy!! We will definitely be back!!
We enjoyed our trip to the farm yesterday. It was a bitterly cold day for four adults, two Grandsons aged one and a baby. The park is of a very high standard and the play areas were lovely. Our only disappointment was the cost of hot food and drinks. We were caught out as we thought cafe on site we will eat there but we refused to pay £16 for a burger! Very limited choice of food and too expensive. Coffee prices were too high, as it was so cold we had to have hot drinks which made the day very expensive. I was disgusted at the price of a babychino hot milk for little ones. Costa and M&S provide this free and the National Trust serves a lovely small cup for 50 pence. This dairy farm is charging £2.25 for a tiny amount of milk for a small child, we refused to buy it. Food and drink far too expensive for a family day out. I would recommend anyone visiting to take a packed lunch and flask.
