Fantastic traditional tea room serving the best cream teas. The savoury cheese scones with cheddar and local chutney are a real treat. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Budleigh Salterton.
The staff is lovely and the food tastes delicious. Happy to see they were so busy during the bank holiday weekend The sandwiches were delightful and hope we can try the crab next time
Looking to have a sit down, relax and a decent cup of tea, treat yourself to a snack , staff are fab. Excellent range of gluten free produce and it actually tastes good !

We went to the cosy teapot today. The ladies who work there are so welcoming and friendly. We had a cream tea lunch and the scones were amazing. The hot chocolate was delicious and my 7 year old daughter fell in love with her yummy banana milkshake. Great place!!!
Nice, small, café/restaurant next to a babbling brook if you sit outside. We only had hot drinks but food was available. It is next to a road but the traffic wasn't too bad on a Saturday afternoon.
Hoping the rain would hold off we got a table was going for the breakfast but found it stopped at 12pm asked anyway and was delighted to hear they could accommodate me thumbs up to helpful staff and a great meal and the rain held off

The waitress was lovely, very polite and helpful. Just a shame the lady owner was so rude and 'stuck up'. Weird way to run a tea shop.
