Cost cutter Mossley road Ashton is my local I go everyday for bread milk cheese you can get some of everything with a good variety also the staff are chatty polite they also have the post office in there which is a lifeline for everyone u can take out put in pay bills so all in all this shop is part of my everyday and I highly recommend all of them
Staff have poor people skills says it shuts at 9pm apparently now shuts at 5.30pm felt discriminated against as I was with someone in a wheel chair been in plenty of times never had a problem them having clearly watched me come in and have to leave my friend outside as aisle in shops tend to me to small and I didn't want to cause them any trouble or extra work picking up what ever I knock off. Can honestly say never been treated with such disrespect and like I was dirt wasn't able to get what I needed and had to travel further down just to get a carton of milk won't be returning and safe to say dirty looks given to my friend told us the reason we wasn't welcome didn't actually shut as on way back people were in and out and I can see it from my door
Have given the extra star for the much value for the hovis bread and the convenience. The issue is the shop is a rip off on nearly all their products. Then there is the what I can only imagine is illegal. Products that have its own price on the products own packaging should be sold at that price. This shop charges more for those products. I.e. Heinze spaghetti hoops has 79p on the print. The shop price is 89p. Another product had 99p, shop price £1.09p Many times they will also put a price on a product, but when it goes through the till, it is dearer. You b have to question the price many times. There has to be many occasions where a customer has picked many items but hasn't tallied up the price. The items went through the till and the customer paid the final price not knowing it was more than it should have been. You have to be on the ball with them and I shall be reporting them to trading standards
Good place to shop, with all your shopping essentials, nice and friendly staff, also has a post office too.
This is a great store that serves the local community. Plenty of stock, friendly staff, deals everyday. There is also a post office on site.
The best post office in Ashton under Lyne. Lovely and very helpful staff. Highly recommended :
So good for post office. Very rare that you queue
Big store and it even has a post office in the far corner!
Its just a typical costcutter I prefer the local superstore but everyone is different.
Busy shop with lots in it and a cash machine outside. No parking
