Same layout as the Reading store so easy to rush in to buy what you need without hunting around. I've heard it is similar to the American stores. Great stock. Everything you need. Friendly staff. Helpful staff and very clean. Nice choice of fast food to eat. DW
Who doesn't like Costco? Super cheap water, cheapest fuel for miles, very cheap and tasty food at the food court, lots of exclusive food. Win win Staff here are very friendly too. Never had an issue People complain about the queues and how busy it is haven't been to the Birmingham branch. This is a breath of fresh of air in comparison. I can actually shop and not have to queue for 30 minutes just to get in
We managed to get everything we needed plus a few extras as usual. We had prompt service at the checkout as well which was good. The only grumble we have is that we had to wait for over ½ an hour to get our jackets potatoes, then find somewhere to sit, but once we had them they were lovely. All in all another good experience. Thank you Costco
Massive range of goods. Some real bargains, but you need to know your prices as not everything is a good deal. The cafe was a challenge. The system had changed since our last visit. Instead of queueing, you order on a touch screen and wait for your number to be called. The problem was at least 20 people waiting with only one person serving most of the time. Took me 20 minutes to get my food.
Great For Shoppers‼If youre looking for Cheap fuel, Huge volume discounts, then this is the place to go! Big parking, very ideal for those with occassions like birthdays, partys, with shops, this place can save a lot for these events, beside most have american and europe brands. The cakes are awesome, tasty, the bread selections, the meat are low prices! To be a shopper,you need to be a member, at the entrance, they have annual card membership and its have a time to shop. Just provide 2 ids esp the passport, afterwards you can shop all you can! They have also discounts in many brands and also Cruises , after your shop , you caj take break with a snack pizza, burgers, and boy they have UNLIMITED Cola for you They have 24 hours, so you can drop anytime. Go check , and BUY YOUR MONTHLY GROCERIES here‼
Great bulk buy prices on a wide range of goods. Fantastic range of quality meat and deli products. Seasonal displays are enticing as is the range of mens and women's clothes. It's well worth the annual membership fee for the fuel prices alone.
EMPLOY MORE CHECKOUT STAFF As a Trade customer who can't attend during the VERY LIMITED trade hours, I am finding it impossible to use Costco. It has become a supermarket for the general public, but with a far inferior checkout experience - at max only 1/2 the tills are manned, and the queuing time to pay is over 30 minues even on weekdays. What's worse is that after checkout, you have to go through the item counting queue, which can take a similar amount of time if there is only one person manning this station as happened today. What business can afford to spend an hour to go though the payment process COSTCO listen up - Time is money!!!! Costco may save you money, but will waste your time!
I initially had some reservations due the membership fees. Now, I felt it's worth it as I can find several items not easily found in most UK supermarkets - frozen section is my favourite.
We never knew that you need a membership card yo go inside .. we gone inside nobody asked nothing... I spend a lot of time inside the shop and when i was at the register we cannot buy anything..... . They could help us they responded very rude and unprofessional.... . After that i try to do a membership card and you need to pay a 40 pounds fee and provide proff adress and work payslip .... Lets be serious!!!! I have done iven 47 miles for nothing..... If you dont have a memycard your money are not good in the shop !!!!!
Shame they have cut the size of baked potatoes by at least half! One of the reasons we travelled to this store was the great value food in the canteen. Also noticed the ready roasted chicken are also far smaller than before. Personally I would prefer to pay a bit extra rather than being hoodwinked. Other than that still bargains to be found and good quality products.
