I was in Costco Optics and received great personal service. The lady who, per her tag has been with Costco since 2002, went out of her way to help me find a suitable frame. And she very capably took care of all insurance aspects and ordered the glasses for me very efficiently. First class service. And the prices are very good.
Decent Costco location given its two floors. Lots of parking that’s always filled on the weekends. Make sure you go midday to avoid the rush and avoid weekend shopping if possible. It’s a madhouse. Optical department is super helpful and has the friendliest staff. Food court is always stocked and the self checkout is always nearly clear when you go after 6pm.
Slower service compared to other Costco shops. Workers chat & joke a lot on site. The front lady is very good but you can feel the laziness among workers. Better make an appointment otherwise expecting at least 2 hours waiting there.
Gio at the return desk was unbelievably rude. We’ve been with Costco for 25 years and rarely return a thing or two over the years. He was literally making up rules yesterday when I returned oat bites. He said they were expired! Well, I bought them 2 weeks ago, so pardon me for not visiting Costco every weekend. I ended up tossing it in the trash. He needs to be assigned elsewhere to work- he is not cut out for a customer facing job and doesn’t reflect the Costco culture.
Now a Costco member I blew a tire on a road trip and this locations tire center took care of me. I came in at most half an hour before closing and explained I needed a tire replaced. Tina and Dan had me with a new tire mounted on my rims and balanced in 30 minutes or less. What was initially a very stressful situation the tire center made calm and resolved everything. Honestly thankful for the tire center and these two.
This Costco was an experience! 2 floors of merchandise and food! People-moving ramps like the ones at the airport connect the 1st and 2nd level. Plenty of cashiers and self-checkout kiosks had us out of the store 10 minutes after we got on line. And don't forget to get a $1.50 hot dog and soda - so yummy!
She was begging so desperate to go to new Costco to do reviews. All this about double chocolate chunk cookie. Finally she introduce me to AJ and Big Just. So now I know what these kids talkin about for YouTube stuff. So we do the review leah gets in her deep monster guy voice a double chunk chocolate cookie and she gives in 5 big booms, boom boom boom boom. Now my turn is try the chicken bake and it gets a big BOOM. The store also gets a boom for being clean and the cashier Chelsea gets a 5 big booms , boom baaaboom for being really sugar sweet , smart for staying in college with work like me and nice . The parking lot was a bit messy and to packed so that gets Doom end of the day this Costco is a boom. We had so much fun doing this little experiment all parents should do boom an doom reviews with the kids to have fun and teach
This is a two layer store. Normally it’s very busy but today during the snowstorm, it was kind of nice and quiet. I was able to try this new superfood, and the price is a lot less expensive than online.
Has 2 levels. Used the food court, service was quick, seating is tight. Parking is very very tight. No gas.
I went to Costco in Portchester and tried to return a garbage can that wasn’t useable and Andy the guy that works at return dept with his name tag on it told me that I wasn’t allowed to return it because it past two years, I had ask him where does it say on the policy that I cannot return an item after two years. He said it wasn’t a written policy and that I had a good amount of fair share of using it. I had also ask him if this policy was all across Costco and when did this start. He mention that it began six months ago. Which I haven’t heard of. *Costco Merchandise Policy: we guarantee your satisfaction on every product we sell with a full refund.* Except electronic items. This is the policy that I know of, so I went to New Rochelle Costco and there I received my full refund and satisfactory with a great customer service. Andy should not be training anyone, he needs the Costco to train him!!
