Really like this Costco. It’s never too busy that you feel cramped or have to wait too long at the checkouts or cafe area. It has a nice selection of things to buy for home use or for business use. I find they generally offer a decent price on most bulk products. I particularly like the food platters, which are great for any sort of events or meetings. They’re usually a must when we visit as they serve their purpose. I do love the cafe at the end and their pizza is amazing! It’s great you can purchase this pizza in store too.
Costco is a membership-based warehouse that offers bulk products at discounted prices. The membership fee can be worth the cost if you plan to shop here often and take advantage of the savings. The prices of most products are cheaper than the market price, but it requires buying in bulk, which might not work for everyone. The products cover a variety of categories including groceries , electronics, clothes, gardening, books and a lot more. The food section offers a good meat selection, DIY kits, and hot meals at cheap prices. They also have a corner for tires and opticals. It also has a food shop, which offers amazing food and drinks for budget-friendly prices. The fuel prices are the cheapest I have seen around the city.
My visit was quite pleasant, arrived with a space and inside was large, with expensive to cheap items in bulk. Went to the restaurant and how divine some of the foods were.
Great shopping warehouse with vast selection of goods both fresh and dried foods. Christmas gifts and decorations amazing too. Pity queue for cafe was so long, would have loved a piece of pizza and a coffee, always a great bargain and delicious!
I love Costco. There's so many things available for a really good price. Food to DIY, kitchen to carpets. There's not many things that Costco doesn't have. Worth getting a membership if you qualify for it When you buy food from the cafe it's always lovely, miles better than most other fast food. Very quick getting served unlimited soft drinks.
In December 2020 I purchased a TCL TV from Costco and after a year and 1 week, it gave up the ghost and required a new main circuit board, with TCL carrying out the repair. The self same problem occurred a further two times in the following year, until TCL said they would no longer undertake any more repairs as the unit was 2 years old. So this January Costco stepped in and sent engineers to check the TV leading to a report condemning it as being "beyond economic repair" and Costco immediately agreed to a full refund. Yesterday I returned the faulty unit to Costco's Gateshead store and, without hesitation, purchased a new Samsung. Much cheaper TCL models on offer git no attention at all. If you're looking for a new Smart TV I'd highly recommend Costco but please, please, please don't choose a TCL
I've had an executive trade membership for many years and regularly visit this Costco as some items are very well priced. However, in recent years, the attitude of some of the staff who work around the checkouts, I guess you'd call them supervisors, has been appalling. I now go to Costco because I have to, not because I want to.
Love this place, find some brilliant deals within the shop and surrounding Isles for products from food items, alcohol, pets, tech, house hold, gym gear and more... after check out they have a kitchen shop serving hot food and drinks which is such a great price you can't not go.
Been a Costco member for years, this warehouse has got to be the worst. Oversubscribed,What’s worse is the staff are always SO rude compared to other Costco stores specially tall man with gray hair and glasses at the customer service desk. I’ve lost count someones tried to sell me exec membership whilst queuing for the checkout checkouts, despite already being an exec member. Some amateur behaviours from the staff!
Similar product prices are cheaper in nearby Aldi if buying retail or even wholesale quantity . Tyres are good price but I can bet you can't get hold of, no one bothers to answer the phone there and keeps the phone ringing volume so low. ;-
