Great experience, Cameron was super considerate and after ordering soy mocha and soy hot chocolate asked if I would like chocolate powder but it contained dairy. That extra touch of kindness goes a long way especially with dairy intolerance. Thank you Cameron
Really notice how Costa has declined in general now in terms of quality and service and this is very noticeable here. Service is at times rude, mostly tolerant and never buzzing or exceptional. Can’t make a vegan coffee to save lives! Didn’t froth the vegan milk enough which meant it was warm rather than hot and not particularly foamy.
I met a pal for coffee and a natter. This is clearly a local hub in Thorpe Bay. Pleasant staff, a good selection of cakes, pastries and biscuits. Our drinks were served at the table and hot as appropriate. Tables were kept clear and clean too which is always a good indicator of caring staff.nnThanks to the team at Costa Coffee Thorpe Bay, see you again for sure.
The staff members were friendly however when I ordered my chicken wrap it was cold. I told the staff members and they immediately re-toasted it and it was burnt and as hard as a rock. It was impossible to bite into and looked and tasted extremely unappetising. I expect a popular chain like Costa to make a new wrap for you when asked as it's expensive. But they have no dignity to themselves and their reputation. Charging a lot of money for a small wrap that isn't even edible is unbelievable. Will not be coming back.
I recently visited this Costa Coffee Shop and was thoroughly impressed by the delicious plethora of food and drink. The atmosphere was lovely, and despite it being a busy time, the service was superb. A special mention must go to Jack Moustache Man whose charm and humour added to the experience. Additionally, I was pleasantly surprised by their exceptional understanding of nut allergy protocols. The staff were attentive and proactive in ensuring my experience was safe and enjoyable. From carefully checking ingredients to preparing my order separately to avoid cross contamination, they went above and beyond to accommodate my allergy needs. Their commitment to customer safety and satisfaction truly made a difference, and I left feeling grateful and confident in their handling of nut allergies. Highly recommend!
