You would expect some degree of service when entering a Costa “High street chain” But sadly not ... it took four minutes for any one of the three staff to actually a knowledge I was standing in front of them at the counter. I gave my order ..large Mocha and an almond and raspberry cake please, then I was told to wait by the male member of staff while the other member panicked when the machine had a wobbly and the red light started to flash.. enter the third member who pulled the condiment trolly away from the counter and started messing with wires and drinks cables under the counter... ( I didn’t know that they were trained in electrics on par with the USS enterprise !!.... With no luck and me standing here waiting for my large mocha... I suggested switching the coffee machine off and giving it a few moments to reboot.... the look I got was disgraceful... sent into Coventry for the mere suggestion... then the coffee machine sprang back to life before I was charged £5.20 for my drink and cake !!.... at least the tables were clean this time and the resident witch had left her broom stick on the floor .. see Picture !

Possibly the scruffiest Costa ever. Tables all covered with dirty cups etc. and two young girls barely capable of communication.

Staff are miserable, drinks are overpriced! The salted caramel cappuccino is so sickly it’s not drinkable! A please and thank you would be nice, even a smile but nothing whatsoever. This place has gone downhill rapidly.

Always nice & a friendly atmosphere. Cakes etc pricey. Have said many times before, semi skimmed milk would be nice instead of just full fat or dishwater skimmed. A small whinge on the scale of things however.
