After a recent renovation, I found the new look somewhat underwhelming. Given the festive season, the shop didn’t really have a festive feel at all. I’d say the franchise owner has a serious freeze on spending. Hard to believe when you consider the prices of drinks.
Better coffee cheaper too to be had elsewhere in town. Price now £3:15 bring your own sweetners too as they don't provide them!! Last visit for me unless no other choice. #
Come in today with barely 10 people in to be told I cannot have a large latte as there Is no cups for it despite me looking round and no one else has a large either, my wrap came to me butchered and mangled. Never had a treat experience in this particular branch and now will not be coming to this one again.
Always enjoy my costa Saturday morning, but being type 2 diabetic I have sweetners, but it seems costa don’t have them anymore??? The place is clean and refurbished made a nice job but not very good if they don’t cater for everyone, derby one was as bad no bread last week,costa get a grip?
Went to Costa in Alfreton Had Mango Frappe absolutely lovely and very refreshing. The staff were, two young men who were very helpful, happy and very busy, specially in this heat. I take my hat off to them both. Well done. I do Love Costa ginger biscuits my favourites. I Usually have a toastie but the weather was far too hot.

Good food and coffee - the staff are very pleasant and the new decor looks great. Plus, more comfy chairs.
Nice large Costa, drinks and food, as usual, overpriced. Toilets are very clean and smell fresh. Staff friendly. Busy with people buying, but not all coffee, some just soft drinks and cakes to take away
Lovely coffee cake and catchup with friends. Smiley staff and delicious treat. Used this place for a couple if business meetings. Great place for a coffee and share ideas
Warm white bread, instead of nicely browned toast. Toast must be the easiest thing to cook and get right !Food: 2/5
