It was fast service, average flat white. Milks location does not look hygienic.
We visited on the way through to Brighton. At 9.30am on a Tuesday.nThe sugar and stir area was sticky and dirty, the sugars were wet and stuck together and needed changing and re stockingnThree table areas we sat at were dirty and the floors were stickynIt looked like there had not been any cleaning done for a good few days.
Very poor standards. The staff work hard to do the best they can. I feel they are let down by Scoffs who seem to want to maximise their take and not invest in the site. Dirty old chairs and sun shade outside has been missing for >6months. Best avoided!
Have new opening times now 7:30 until 5pm. No update on website or Google. Waited until 7:30 and still closed. No sign of anyone.
Waited at the till for ages and wasn’t served by the 2 young members of staff who were stood right in front of me, because they were too busy flirting and looked as if my presence was a nuisance to them!nnWhen we finally got served the girl rushed our drinks made the latte in a rush, she didn’t even heat up the milk enough, the drinks weren’t worth the money.nnThe staff were running around the cafe, screaming and laughing, felt like the manager wasn’t in. Won’t be returning as the drinks weren’t properly made and the staff were acting like children running about.
