Popped into Costa when passing through Horncastle. Was served by a great young lady called Lottie, despite her not feeling well she did a great job with a smile and chat, also made the best frappe I've had from Costa. We will be visiting again when next in the area. Keep up the good work Lottie and thank you x
It was a lovely cup of coffee. It would have been better if it had been a bit quieter. A bit too noisy for me. Also the hand dryer in the toilet wasn't working.
I honestly don't know what went wrong with Costa today. Usually I expect the same level of service in all locations - close to excellent.nWait to be served was very long, staff didn't seem to know what they are doing and taking very long time doing so. There was only 3 people to be served before us 2 of them together, but we waited approximately 15 min to get to the till. There was about 3-4 tables taken down stairs and others had trays and empty cups on them. We were told that our coffee and panini will be brought to us, so went upstairs. Not one other customer was upstairs, but loads of dirty tables, trays and cups everywhere.nWe waited at least another 10 min ok, we had a Panini but coffee was faul - weak and lukewarm. Also, not that it's extremely important, but our latte was served in cappuccino cups, just to give you idea how many dirty latte cups were everywhere.nPanini was nice and so was the view out the first floor window.
Very helpful staff, once spilt a drink here but the staff cleaned it up and made me a new one without me having to pay any extra. Love the seasonal choices but I wish they could have some of them all the time. There are many food options and always a wide range of cakes for many diets
Always good everytime we go in there, whether we order a cappuccino, latte or frappe.nStaff are always friendly and helpful, as they always help us in with our pushchair as there's a few steps into the café as it's an old building.nFoods always good and typically as expensive as you expect costa to be.nNice atmosphere and nicely furnished, always a busy café as it's in the heart of horncastle but you'll always find somewhere to sit as there is seating upstairs and the staff will happily bring your drinks upstairs for you.
