Dry poor service, waited ten minutes to be seen even though there was nobody being served. Very unprofessional staff, one blonde girl in uniform having her leg rubbed by a creepy looking guy with a moustache. Very unprofessional in front of customers. Only good thing was the coffee was nice.
Bring some wet paint with you and watch it dry while you’re waiting for your order - they can only draw a single espresso at a time apparently. Drank the coffee out of a paper cup even though I wanted it in a real cup, presumably to save on washing up. The coffee was ok.
The new store is fantastic! So much seating and the whole space feels lighter & brighter. The coffee and the food were delicious as always, and the staff at this particular branch of Costa were wonderful. Well worth a visit.
Much better service after a Gills game rather than before. You need to have a fixture list up in the staff room and your A Team on every time we are at home.Food: 4/5
Absolutely horrendous service half a cup of coffee told the cream pushes it down two young workers both argumentative. Toilets were absolutely filthy wee all over the seat toilet roll all over the floor the floors were so slippy. Got people's orders wrong, people left because it was such a slow service. Tables were not cleaned. All in all an absolutely horrible experience. I normally love Costa and after feeling a bit sore from a hospital procedure was really looking forward to sitting down and having my favourite coffee but this store will never have me return.
I have been served by Jagz twice now since I’ve been to the revamped Costa and I cannot tell you how much this woman puts a smile on my face. Serves with such passion and great customer service that my kids smile too. Thank you Jagz your super.
Second time, being there got Iced Latte with Caramel was good and I liked it. Cheers!Food: 4/5
We were looking forward to having a coffe. It was very dirty and messy. We walked in and the first 2 tables were covered in sugar and sugar packets about 20 . Lots of sugar on the floor a trip hazard napkins , straws and receipts scattered on the floor. 2 members of staff behind the counter, not serving anyone. No one was cleaning up. We turned around and walk out.
Cold coffee always unless you ask for it to be hot. Service is OK when they don't have deliveries to deal with. Atmosphere is not great when you have drunken people standing at the window shouting abuse. Also not happy they have toast available shocking Food: 2/5
The British coffee chain. In a place where tea is the standard, the coffee this place offers is still notable. Though the selection of drinks are not as numerous, it still offers enough for every discerning taste. As far as taste, you'd best leave your bias at the door to truly enjoy the unique taste of Costa coffee.
