Spacious and inviting space so you're not squashed in next to other customers. Could do with a good clean as there was a lot of dust on the pictures on the wall and dirty marks on walls and doors. Nice coffee and pleasant, friendly staff. Also seating outside so you can enjoy a coffee and a smoke on a sunny day. Would have given five stars if it was clean inside.

First time visited Summertown Costa. Positive: A bright and spacious cafe. Negative: Dirty! Dirty! Espcially toilets are disgusting. Can't belive it is Costa, in Summertown? England?! Services are half hearted, eg. after payment and drinks on the tray, staff just stood there, silent. After a few exchanges of eye contact and awkard silence, I had to ask if I waited there or the heated food would be brought to my table (like other Costa's, it wasn't busy). As a loyal Costa customer, rather angry by how this Costa is managed - such prime location! What a waste! Shall never return, especially the toilet!

Awesome for a morning coffee, study session (make sure to bring your headphones though), or just to sit with your friends. The staff is friendly and coffee is just great. It will be crowded and line can be about 10 minutes long, or you can leave the place in just 3 minutes. Depends on a day and time. I'm not sure about the Wi-Fi as I never got around to using it, but it might not be great. There are also seats outside for a nice day or if you want to enjoy your morning espresso with a cigarette. The place is nice, but sometimes staff doesn't have time to clean the tables from cups. I didn't have any trouble putting them away though.
