Extremely busy when we went in. 3 staff members working really hard and what was apparent was their teamwork! Well done you 3, you got the queue served in a decent time and you all kept your cool! . Enjoyed my visit and our toasties and drinks

Looks like it was an old bank.Decor nice,but a bit spartan in main seating area.Staff very friendly with customers,made drinks well.Toilets were clean Negatives: Banana bread dry as a board,clearly been left out too long slightly toasted feel on one side it was so dry.Toastie very basic and overcooked. Tables remained uncleared and dirty dishes piled up for over 40minutes.

Lovely little Costa in an old bank.  It has it's own parking behind it, but is soon full, though many people were only getting carry out so weren't there for too long.  The staff were lovely and the coffee great, as usual.

Coffee was nice, the customer service was awful. Came in and was told that they were closing in half an hour which is fair enough as I wasn't planning to stay long anyway but the employee's attitude about having to serve me was uncalled for, very rude for no reason and they clearly didn't want to be there. Work on your customer service skills, its not the customer's fault if you want to go home early. The other staff member working was very lovely and I don't have any issues with them.

-2 stars if that was an option Before entering I was waiting outside for a few minutes and when I walked in I had seen tables still needing to be cleared, thought fair enough could have been busy before, yet the staff was still behind bar. the whole shop smelled like sewage and the customer service was horrible the shop manager who served me seemed like she didn't want to be there. The coffee was good but that was about it, there was no food available aside from cakes and biscuits. When I asked about the Wifi not being available I asked if I could use the staff one as I had some things I needed to do for my course and the reply was that I couldn't as it was for staff only which I understand but the way the manager Marci had said it was very rude.  I highly recommend not coming here as there are other cafes in Carnoustie that are much better which is a shame as this shop used to be one of the best.

Food and coffee were the norm that one would experience at Costa. Staff good and friendly...It seemed that despite free wi-fi being advertised at Costa, which is also etched upon their entrance doors, we were told that it was only available for the staff at this cafe..I wonder why?

Place was empty and had to ask for my Veg Breakfast box to be heated! Was I meant to eat cold beans and scrambled eggs? Was told coffee and food would be brought to table, sat in the back, and ten minutes later heard a scream for 'coffee and bacon bap' - not brought to table after all, and then waited for the same shouting about my veg box. No WiFi! Must be the only Costa in the country without free WiFi! "WiFi is for staff only"

Disappointed in recent visit. Took my grandsons in about 4 o'clock on a Saturday very little available in the way of cakes which is what the visit was about, although it was opened until 7 o'clock.

This is one of the better Costa Coffees I've spent my time in. Very laid back atmosphere. Staff very friendly. Would have given 5* but staff have got my order wrong on a number of occasions, but they have always been very apologetic and helpful when pointed out. Other than that this is a great place for coffee, sit in or take away.

Great coffee shop in the little town of Carnoustie.  Friendly staff very clean and a quick service.
