Lot of seats available and service is quick and friendly staff. Quality of coffee and time to make was good. On street parking pay and display available and also have lots of other shops near by. Busy high street so great way to unwind in this costa.
Staff were very non responsive all three of them and had no interest in serving. Finally when we were served the cutlery was dirty. However hot chocolates and croissants were delicious. I don’t think I will use this Costa in the future where the customers are not made to feel welcome.
The usual Costa experience in terms of food and drink - good tasting coffee for a slight premium in cost compared to an independent coffee house, and food which tastes good but probably isn’t worth the money. The location of this branch is on the corner of a busy high street, with very limited paid parking at the front. Best to access this by one of the many local buses which travel through this area. The seating area is not huge, so sometimes finding an area to sit and eat/drink can be a challenge. There is one toilet on site and is fitted with mobility assistance for those who require it
I love this place. It's my favorite place to go when I want to just get out of the house for some good coffee and a chat with friends. The staff is always friendly and I've never had any issues with them. This is definitely the best coffee shop.
I’ve ordered hot chocolate and it tastes fantastic but the queue took 8 mins and the service was very slow.
Costa Café, is like my Spiritual Home. Sometimes, this Zen-like, state of mind. Gets, interrupted. When it is busy, I understand that maintaining clean tables can be, tasking. At the time I was there ...it wasn't as busy. I asked a member of staff for their cleaning materials, for me to clean my table? The staff member, cleaned my table for me. I was annoyed by the smell of cigarette smoke wafting in, from outside, seating area, into the seating area, inside. This was due to the front door being left open, I asked a member of staff, if I could close it? I was granted my wish. When it was closed, It got hotter inside the seating area. And it started to feel like a sauna, for me. I opened the front door. The second thing that happened to me on that day was. A young lady, brought her dog inside, to greet her grandmother, who was waiting to use the facility. Her dog, was on, one of those, cassette leads. And she lets her dog, roam around with the lead extending... Her dog, jumped, on the space next to me, and started GROWLING. I DIDN'T LIKE THIS... She apologised, ....it felt insincere. This was, one of those stupid behaviours. ....Not everyone likes dogs. I thought...the reason for having a dog, on a lead is: to keep them, next to you? I controlled myself. The staff looked on,...they didn't say anything or do anything.
The service and cappuccino is very bad here! I sent back the cappuccino as it was too watery and boiling hot, and the lady serving said out loud in front of all the customers “This is cappuccino“! I told her there should be foam on top and it shouldn’t be boiling hot. She reluctantly made me another one. Whilst the other server was on the speaker phone talking to her daughter and keeping customers waiting to be served. Costa needs to train these workers ASAP!
Very busy and at Nice location. Feel sorry for the employees who were working there as there were less staff than it required. Colleagues were straggling, most of the tables were uncleaned, there was a long queue , staffs were well behaved, but I want to bring management attention in to this issues hence I put 1star only .
Lovely staff, enjoy my interactions and the coffee is made with care. Vegetarian options: I would love more healthier lower sugar and fat options
Our coffee taste so good! We love our coffee. I always enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning.
