Great variety of small and large businesses. Has a train station with 2 car parks but one is a short walk away. The car park nearest to the station has 2 disabled bays. Train station is a 5min walk from the main shopping centre at Roseville.
Very nice station, it's not too busy but there are enough trains to get wherever you need to go. The only bus stop nearby is a Diamond bus, which is a bit unfortunate but the West Midlands bus stop is only a 5-10 minute walk away.nnThe station has a small waiting room which can fit up to 8 people on a rainy day on both platforms. The station is clean and staffed, with a ticket booth to easily book a train whichever direction you desire.nnAll in all, it's accessible, clean, and well placed.
I contest some of the reviews here, especially the one about 'potato heads.' I find the town to be a lovely place and holiday there regularly. Show some respect!
It's a good little station, fairly regular and largely punctual trains to Birmingham and Wolverhampton. Always has a good supply of Metro free newspapers in the morning. Has a waiting room on each platform but when they get busy at peak times there is very little shelter. Not ideal for a rainy December morning.
Step free access is available on both sides as well as having two car parks located close together and a ticket office located on the Birmingham side. Trains here are decently frequent though formed of 3 to 4 coaches most of the time.
